Microsoft Officially Announces Holiday Bundles

There are two bundles announced. The first bundle is Xbox 360 Elite with Lego Batman and Pure. The interesting thing to note here is that it will be sold for $299.99. With this news and Uncharted 2, hopefully the prices will be matching the prices in USA.

This could be good for those that don't want Halo 3 and do not need a wireless adapter. But its a bummer that Lego Batman has <8 TiV at EB Games.

The second bundle is not that strong. Its a wireless controller with 4 arcade games for $69.99

The bundles have shipped to retailers today so we can expect them to be included in the flyers for next week.

Thanks for the info - when I read Batman in your post, I automatically thought Arkham Asylum not Lego Batman. :P BAA with a TIV of less than $8 just blew my mind...

For the lazy: Arcade games in second bundle are Lumines Live, Bomberman Live, Geometry Wars, Ms. Pac-Man

I think I may try and do the trade 10 for that holiday bundle and use rewards points to knock another $50 off. $149.99 for Elite and two games is decent.

Got update from Microsoft. There won't be any price drops. So it seems the $299 will be specific to the holiday bundle alone. They also confirmed that Forza 3 will in fact be sold for $69.99 in Canada.

So I assume the Halo 3 bundle is going away then? I may have to be quick to pick it up then as I need the wireless adapter more then these 2 games.
