It's not an issue of price, it's support. It took them an entire year just to produce two new, buggy maps and there are still some outstanding bugs in the game yet to be fixed. Why? Because we live in an age where people pay $60 for ODST and other rushed sequels.

Yeah, yeah; cry more noob. I'm just disappointed is all.

What bugs have you run in to? I've only been playing coop and, aside from the bug where blood constantly spills out of a certain spot when you kill a hunter, I've yet to encounter anything really serious.

You don't get any code. Just the gift option to send to your friend. Once your friend redeemed it, it's bound to his account. And, yes you can send it immediately after purchased. No need to wait until release date.

Buying L4D2 as part of the preorder 4 pack makes the price per unit basically 34 bucks each, plus gives you early access to the demo and the exclusive in game baseball bat.

So I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread where people can exchange extra copies either for paypal or steam games being gifted to them, whatever works.

Myself, I just got the 4 pack and I have one extra copy left to trade for another steam game. So post if you have extras or want extras and whether you prefer in-steam trades or paypal and this should help us all save some dough. :)

It should be everyone. Basically what everyone ends up with is the pre-order, so I don't see why they wouldn't give it to all of them.

There's nothing differentiating the singular items in the 4-pack from the single packs.

OK. I will do the purchasing if I can line up 3 other people. The cost is 134.99 / 4 = $33.75. But paypal gets their cut.

So if you pay from a paypal balance or paypal which draws from a checking account then the charge is $33.75.

But if you want to send through paypal from a credit card then the fee is 35.07.
