anybody know of that bridge that folded into a ribbon due to strong winds and it trapped a person in it? i've been trying to look for the name of that bridge

Folded into a ribbon? I'd be interested in this one too. The only wind related bridge thing I know of is Tacoma Narrows bridge collapsing.

The Tacoma Bridge. Not sure it went all the way into a ribbon shape. If so they didn't tell me that part in school.

That bridge didn't fold into a ribbon, it just wobbled and then fell apart because of bad design.

And that my friends is why Linear Algebra kicks ass. They should have taken into account that in a system of equations describing the forces acting on the bridge, there was a a null space. A null space equals bad stuff.

They have that video playing over at Science City in St. Louis. It's right there at the entrance to the walkway between buildings, which passes over a highway if I remember correctly. I guess they like scaring the shit out of little kids and making the parents deal with it.
