Not really a deal, but if anyone wants it really bad than Marvel vs. Capcom 2 pre-played is 54.99 at Eb online. Once you add the free shipping code and the 15% off code, plus if you have an edge card, it's lowers it down a little. Kind of wierd why it's that expensive for pre-played. Anyone know why it's more than a brand new game?

Edit: Bah, I can't figure out how to post the link as a picture or instead of having the regular url, to have it say Marvel vs Capcom 2 and then to transfer over to the site. Anybody know how to do this? Never mind fixed it and figured it out for future posts.

At my local BlockBuster they sell it used for 25. Or at least they used to, so I would recommend that first.

A used DC + DC MvC2 would be cheaper, and the DC version of MvC2 is better than the PS2 version, IMHO.

It's not so much as finding the game -- that part is easy. It's finding it cheap.

I've seen the XB version at one of the local FYE's around town for $40. I traded in some games to them and it brought the price down quite a bit, so I picked it up from there.

I saw it at my gamecrazy for about $23.00 so for $54.99 preplayed is a bit pricey.

you're lucky that your gamecrazy had it. As soon as mine gets anything good the employees tend to take it. Just like when they clearanced out their Dreamcast stuff and everything was about 2 dollars or less.

MvC2 is out of print forever because Capcom no longer has the Marvel license

Damn you are lucky, but why doesn't anyone just use 25% off the one at Gamestop if you buy another game, that is over $40, you could get 25% off both games...

I see both games all the time for that price. Yes, I could have bought both games for $19.99 at one time, but never cared because I already had it on Dreamcast.

I have the Dreamcast one myself and agree that it's the best version.

Yep. I'm so glad I picked up 2 copies of this during the dying days of the dreamcast.
While I paid as much for one copy of this as I did for 5 copies of Soul Calibur ($10), it was more than worth it.

I just picked up the Dreamcast version off eBay, it should be here soon. I was playing the first one last night, how much better/different is part 2?

CvS 2 is better...

CvS 2 is better...

Capcom vs SNK2 is a better adaptation of the Street Fighter system as a whole. Marvel vs Capcom 2 is more of a party fighter mixed with the Street Fighter mechanics.

True. I guess I am just a SF fan more than anything. *tries to wait patiently as CvS: Millenium Edition 2000 is delivered to my house atop a snail...*

I saw MvC2 for PS2 used at MediaPlay for $8.99 ... I didn't pick it up, as I was broke at the time.
