I was at Wal-Mart last night and picked up Donkey Konga with Bongos for $29.99. Not sure why they had it priced like this. It was with the controllers and not in the case like most games. This was in Lincoln NE. I hope that some of you can score this as the game is tremendously fun.

Yeah there is a deal...he said he got the game and bongos for only $30. Which is probably a pricing error because they thought it was just the bongos.

Sounds like the store might have mixed up the Game/bongo bundle with the seperate bongos. They have very similar boxes.

all of the boxes they had there had the game in them. I checked just to make sure. They had none in the case where you would normally expect to find something like this.

i got a couple rain check you can half wont help out much cause they be expire by the time you get them. most all rain checks will be hasnt really been a rain check since aug

Yeah, I think the good (40% or more off) sales are going to wane now that the holiday season is approaching. Less need to clear games out as they try to get full price (or close) for the heavy hitters.
The $10 card back seems to be the idea now.

Hmmm well they only have the bongos on the website so I guess I can understand the mistake. I wonder if my wal-mart has this? Sounds like a good deal.

I guess I'm going to go to Wal*Mart tonight before going home. Needed to pick up Aladdin anyway. If it's the same deal, I can pick some extras up. But they probably have only two, since I am in Podunk College Town, USA. But, that may also work to my advantage. If there is a pricing error, they are too stupid to realize. Is this dishonest though? Now I'm gonna be in a moral dilemma if this turns out that it works... grrrr.... ](*,)

It's not dishonest IMO, if the game is in the system at that price, it's not your fault and I don't see it as being immoral. It's not like you did something to the system to make the game ring up at that price.

Well I went to Wal-mart last night. They have both packages.. the nintendo bongos and the nintendo bongos plus the game. These packages are poorly put together they both look so similar. I took it to the price scanner $49.97 for bongos plus the game. I want some evidence that this deal is real.... I think it is bogus.

I can confirm this in Lebanon Oregon Walmart. Same thing. THe boxes look the same, so they were priced the same. Had to get a manager overried after they rang up 50, but i got them for 30.

They were tagged for 30. But rang up as 50. But since they ALL were tagged at 30, and it wasnt just a single mistake, walmart had to honor the price.

So if the game and bongos are marked as $30 then thats the only chance you have of getting them at that price. Well YMMV for sure but I will have to check this out myself.

I was just about out the door and I changed my mind ... I ordered Gitaroo-Man and Pop2 this morning, I really need to slow the spending.

No good for me. Rang up $49.96 and it wasn't marked $29.99. I should have preordered it at Gamerush for the same price. Damn.

So it is priced right but you had to get a manager to over ride the correct price so you could RIP THEM OFF!!! NICE. Sounds like the manager was dumb enough to do it too.

At mediaplay this past Tuesday they had a publishing error in their weekly circular. So it only took 4 instead of 5 games for a trade-in.

The poster that got the override wasn't really at fault. Most, if not all stores have to match the displayed price on merchandise, regardless if its in their favor or not. Atleast thats what I've been told. Its time to go to Wal Mart and see if they have any. Thats what sucks about living in the middle of Indiana between Indy and Ft. Wayne and the closest Best Buy, Target, and EB are a half hour drive away. damn stupid people who run peru.
