That's right. And I think most people here understand that, which is probably why arguing has been minimal on these two threads. Because I know there are many who have widely different views, posting people who are complete opposties and all. But I am quite happy that people aren't flaming each other for their thoughts. :D

Lets see here, I'm gonna have to go with Adolf Hitler, now before i'm flamed to death, understand that this was a man with a mission, a mission he was determined to carry out until the bitter end. He struck when the German economy was low, and the need for a leader was high. I do not agree with what he did, but I do admire him for his political mastery and his stark effeciency.

Far as I'm concerned, Lucas is a major ass, in no way would I ever label him cool. This guy is a conceited jerk who ripped off many time-tested movie formulas, set them all in a soap opera in space, and got phenomenally lucky with his casting. After that he declares himself a genius and milks the idea by selling tired retreads to a legion of irrationally loyal dorks.

his beliefs were wrong and so were his actions, but I have the upmost respect for him and Napoleon.
countries smaller than the state of Texas basically took on the whole world and almost won. If it was not for the mental problems hitler was having, he may have won the war
people never give him props for as brillant as he was. To exploit a whole country, and gain power as he did is just amazing.
and for those who called the kid a moron, you opinion is understandable, but have less hate for Hitler and more for Stalin. That man killed 20 million of his own people and sent many more to their death in war.

Ummmmm... I don't agree with Hitler being praised, but your argument doesn't hold water. Your whole statement is based upon the economy and the great depression. Well, guess what brought us out of the depression? WWII... Your agument seems to support Hitler being named more than the other guy, IMO.
