Let Infinty Ward know that they have made a foolish decision to not include Dedicated servers if your wondering what this means is matchmaking like Xbox live no server lists no mods no community etc.
Let your voice be heard sign the petition! http://www.petitiononline.com/dedis4mw/petition.html

I'm in - last time, it was a frickin' fiasco for WEEKS. I still question how the matching system works - there were privates (rank 1) hooked up w/ seriously skilled veterans - not so fun for everyone.

God dammit. I am torn between my usual kneejerk reaction to make fun of anyone who starts an internet petition and seriously what the fuck is this motherfucking bullshit Infinity Ward are you guys fucking simple in the head?

It's too bad Infinity Ward decided to remove dedicated servers from MW2, they're way better then rooms with random players.
I have several servers I love to play on in Team Fortress 2 because of the people who play on those servers. You can't get that without dedicated servers.
Pretty lame since they're going to sell millions of copies of this game that they can't take the time/effort to implement at least an option for it.

Their bread and butter is most likely the console crowd. Why spend time/money/resources/etc on dedicated servers for the pc players when the ROI isn't there? Yes, it is shitty from a game player's perspective but at the end of the day IW is a business and needs to make money.

Activision is pleased that you're blaming Infinity Ward for this decision.

I don't think it'll make a difference but I went ahead and signed the petition.

I signed. Theyr'e past 50,000 sigs in only a couple of days so maybe this petition has some legs.
I can see them not wanting to foot the costs of maintaining dedicated servers themselves, but the remove the feature entirely? At least let the end user pay for and setup dedicated servers.
Counter-Strike is the only FPS I still play on the PC, but I can't imagine that game not having dedicated servers. Those servers are the reason people still play the game to this day.

Is this about dedicated servers or a server list?
