After selling the PO for $44.99 for 4-5 months now, they finally got the memo that it was reprinted.

Is it better than the Dreamcast version....I have the Dreamcast version and finished it years ago....I would pick up the Gamecube version if it is any good. What are the differences?

It's got some extra features and they supposedly cleaned up the random enemy encounters, but I have played and beaten both versions and it doesn't seem like they did anything about it.
The DC version is just fine if you don't care about the couple of frills the GC version throws in.

I actually heard that there's an extra side quest in the DC version that wasn't included in the GC version. I can't verify this for sure as I have yet to play either.

There are some more discoveries in the GC version.
Also, there are a couple of new side quests.
Otherwise, the graphics and gameplay are identical. As an above poster stated, they *supposedly* reduced the number of random encounters, but you wouldn't know it from playing the game. It is still very randem encounter heavy.

Actually, it was $50 for the first few months, then became UBER-rare, and then was reprinted.
I don't want to spend more than $10 on it because I have the DC version, so I'm probably going to pass on this one. Awesome game though.

One of my favorite RPG's of this generation. Played both the DC and GC versions. GC has the bounties, which is cool, and an extra player. Other than that, not much difference between the two.
