$22.50 for a movie game is $22.49 too much. Thanks for posting the 'deal', but I'll wait till this is $5 or less on clearance someplace.

$22.50 for a movie game is $22.49 too much.
It's the only movie based video game I've cared to buy...that says a lot.
The DEMO was good...I've been looking forward to picking this one up.
To each their own...
Just as well...of the 80+ completed listings that went at auction and BIN...this is the cheapest I've seen the game sold.

FYI, Target is starting to put this game on clearance so it has a potential to get lower.
This is supposed to be a great game, like a God of War type.

Well, the game is brand new from eBay (hint, hint)...but I doubt this one will last more than a few rounds at Target.

Badass...congrats to everyone else pulling this in...only three left.
There's really no call to come into a deal thread for purposes of bashing a game or the deal...which happens to be the best deal on the game at the moment...seems he's the only one sharing the sentiment.

I'm renting this game right now. It's good. Since I'm renting it and will beat it over the weekend...err...I think...I'll probably skip a purchase, otherwise I'd have probably jumped on this to be able to keep it.
And from the demo and the fact that it's activision, same who did spidey 3, I doubt it's just a straight up movie game. Probably SOME of the movie stuff is integrated with other content from the comics that wasn't in the movie.
Seriously, download the demo. It's at the very least worth a rental.

So basically, it's a carbon copy of God Of War, but with Wolverine in the place of Kratos? I'll still wait for the inevitable Kmart/Sears clearance and get it for $5.
I've never paid much for those movie games, even if they do end up being halfway decent. I guess it's just the CAG in me that won't allow me to pay more than $10 for most games.

That's the thing with me though, I'm patient for most games and won't break out of being a cheapass just because one is getting good reviews and may be 'worth it'. I've played too many stinkers to pay too much for ANY game anymore. Well, save for the GTA series, which is almost always a day one purchase for me.
Didn't mean to seem like I was threadcrapping, but I'd still rather give my $$$ to a store as opposed to an Ebayer, who probably got this game for $5 a copy.

For those that aren't clueless, Amazon's trade-in value is currently 22.50, potentially meaning it'll cost you nothing (or perhaps $1 or 2) to play the game and trade it in.

hahaha. perfect.
Whenever someone says " I speak my mind" I always think about Cartman on the Jerry Springer show as a teenage girl: "I speak my mind! Whatever! I do what I want"

Carbon copy of God of War? You gotta be kidding me... Sorry, it's not God of War, it's a clone, but not close enough to be called carbon copy. While it's fun and all, but it falls short... God of War I and II on the PS2 is more fun than this game. See, Wolverine was fine and all, but the levels are a drag... You don't feel it in the jungle levels, but man, once you're in the casino, forget it (do you really need to chase Gambit that far?!?!).
There's a difference between putting good actions in the story line vs. bloated actions just to make the game longer. The puzzles feel like they're forced...
Overall, it's a fairly good game, $20? Definitely worth it, but no, it's not God of War...

Almost placed an offer until I realized it was for PS3. It has to be for 360 since I'm trying to reach 20,000 achievement points. If it wasn't for Tiger Woods I would easily have at least 24,000. So many games and I can only pull myself to play TW. It is a love/hate relationship.

I apologize if I misspoke on the quality of this game, but most movie games are rushed and usually end up being total crap. If this is not the case with this game, then so be it, but a good 80% of movie titles are utter shit.
However, being a true CAG, I can't see paying more than $10 for any game and that number is pushing it with a movie game, no matter how good it might be.

I am surprised by all those who are rushing to jump on this. I am with IATCG on this one. It doesn't really matter how good this game is, movie games always end up in the bargain bin.

After having watched a video review of it from IGN, I still say it looks and plays ALOT like a GOW clone. I'll probably pick it up for $5 if I see it on clearance, but for $20 I'll still pass.

Cheapest... I'm hope I'm not the first to tell you this, but you kinda come off as a tool. By the time you can get this game for $5 the next gen consoles will be out. I just can't see the fun in playing a game that is that old. I just can't muster the enthusiasm to play PS2 games (not even Shadow of the Colossus, which a buddy of mine will not STFU about) when I've got Uncharted I could be playing. And I've always thought that games in the $5 bin probably aren't worth my $5. If you don't spend more than $10 on a game by the time you're able to play good PS3 games I'll be gaming in Virtual Reality.

So you're saying that NO ONE will have this game on clearance before the next next gen arrives? The posts after me beg to differ, with people already saying it's been put on clearance at Target.
Someone WILL put it on clearance LONG before the next console gen and I will buy it(if I even remember about it by then)for $5 or possibly even less.
Being a CAG means you have to play the waiting game or you're going to overpay for games, systems and accessories. There are far too many newer members on here who just don't have the patience to wait. But I suppose SOMEONE has to support the game companies.
As for me not being able to find 'good' PS3 games, I've found good and bad ones alike for WAYYYY under retail already this gen. Again, it's just a waiting game.

That's not his point. His point is that no one gives a shit about your price point or how much you're willing to pay for a game/ a movie game.
The people who read this thread want to know if the price in the CURRENT marketplace is a good deal. They want to know "hey, if **I** want the game now, is $20 good? Is $25 good? Is there a price somewhere that I am not aware of where it's cheaper?"
Nobody cares about your patience or how smart you are for getting a good deal by waiting everyone out.
Savvy?

Well, judging from this thread, there's ALOT of people who don't mind overpaying for games then. But whatever. To each their own.
And didn't it seem a bit peculiar how the OP seemed to pimp out ONE particular sellers inventory of games?

As for the OP, yeah, it's a little suspicious. I immediately figured OP is/knew the seller.

Confoosious said it pretty well.
Really, do you think people care if you're telling them it's "$xx.xx" too much? FYI, they don't. Honestly, you can keep going on about all this opinion bullcrap and saying you're a "True CAG" but really, you're just someone who thinks they are all-that. You got money, that's cool. You give your opinions based on a game you've never played/only watched a video review on and that's that. That's cool too. Then you go on aruguing with other people.. do you not understand why everyone is AGAINST you? Jesus christ.
tl;dr: stop posting nonsense and let people buy one of the best movie games in the past couple years.

really, stop trying to defend yourself. you came in bashing a game and the people buying it for no apparent reason. You fucked up, and made an ass of yourself. Nobody cares of your ability or savviness to wait for games to hit astronomical lows. The point here was that this was a mighty good deal on a good game. the lowest it was prior was $40 ON CLEARANCE. $22.50 or whatever people paid was a steal.
Just admit you made an ass out of yourself, and move on. Maybe think a little more before posting or whatever you need.
