I might wait for DA:origins to price drop, I am one of the biggest single player long game fans but with a RPG Group type game I really like co-op, Borderlands for example wouldn't be as good without the co-op. But then again I guess you are in a round about way with the pre-order bonus and gift card paying 30$ for the game which is cheap for a RPG...

Best Buy pre order online bonus is 250bonus points on top of 60 points for the game making an estimated $20 RZ Certificates.
Has anyone had these bonus gamers club points actually apply correctly? I bought Batman: AA back at launch and those 250 bonus points never got added to my gamers club account, just my regular reward zone. I called them up and they said they would correct it... and they just added another 250 points to my reward zone account. I'm not complaining, but just giving anyone a heads up that's looking at this deal like they're really going to get $20 in RZ certificates because chances are, you won't. Take a look at the message board on the gamers club page, a lot of people are having difficulty having their points actually apply correctly.
$12.99 for Simpsons S12? Yes, please.
Any clarification on Californication for $18.99? You've got it listed under twin-packed DVD's, but is that the price for just S2? I just finished off S1 on Netflix, and I'm looking for a deal on S2.

Christ, of course the Wii bashers have to come out already. Who really cares if its another B2G1 or if its just for Wii? OMG Wii sux0rz etc... but millions of people own Wiis and millions of parents throw down for Wii games, even the very shitty shovelware ones.
This will certainly be a deal for a lot of people who don't regularly shop Toys R Us or Best Buy. Think about it. You can buy everything from milk to jeans to laundry detergent to GI Joes etc. at Target. People are going to be in there for a lot of different things, and if you have small children they're always going to run to check out the toys and video games. There's greater odds of pulling mom and dad in on a routine Sunday shopping trip to try and convince them to buy you three video games than there is of begging them to get in the car and take a needless trip to Best Buy or Toys R Us.
Besides, like another poster mentioned, this might work on clearance games, and depending on what your local Target has on clearance, it could make for some really cheap deals or flips. I'm sure this idea has already crossed the minds of ebay, Slickdeals, and Fatwallet hoarders.

People confuse Gamers Club points and Reward Zone points... there are only Reward Zone points...
So for Core Reward Zone members (not the higher tier Premier Silver), when you buy a $60 game that comes with a deal for 250 Gamers Club bonus points, you get, in your Reward Zone account, 60 RZ points for the game purchase and 250 bonus points for a total of 310 points. As a Gamers Club member, you also get $60 towards the $150 in game purchases it takes to earn another 500 Reward Zone points. At no point do you get $20 in RZ certs from this deal.

The only place I know of still taking pre-orders for the Dragon Age 360 CE is the EA Store. They are offering free shipping and an exclusive to EA Store in-game item (a ring).
If you have registered with ea.com before and gotten one of their automated birthday emails, you can get 25% off your purchase. Even though the email says the code expires in 30 days, my birthday was in February and my code still worked.
I got the 360 CE with standard shipping for $60 (game-discount+tax.)

Target had Boom Blox for $20 last Black Friday, and Amazon had it for super cheap too, but it was a lightening deal at like 3 AM Pacific time or something. The game is also being clearanced at a bunch of Targets. You can probably find it cheap enough soon enough without having to worry about buying 2 more games you might not really want, or that doesn't make the B2G1 make sense.

Hell, I'd be happy with a B2G1 deal for PC games. All these sales are making me think it's time to get back on the console wagon.

Hells yes Wii B2G1 free sale.
The deals just keep on coming.
I think I'll finally pick up Wii Sports Resort & Super Paper Mario, & a third game depending on what my local Target's selection is. (I'm thinking probably Sonic & the Black Knight)
Of course I could do this at Best Buy and get my RZ points, but I'm still a bit ticked at them not including the WSR bundle with two motion pluses bundle in this week's sale.

They've got the offer updated on their website. In addition to the B2G1 Free, you also get free shipping when you spend more than $50 (which you'll obviously do if you order two games). However, it's limited to only 16 titles online! I'm wondering if each store will have different games available, or if only these 16 games are eligible for the B2G1 Free?
If so, I've already picked up the titles I'm interested in (Punch Out- Amazon.com B2G1 Free promotion; Mario Kart Wii- just ordered it today as part of the spend $80 for $40 of credit at Amazon.com offer; Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 Bundle- Best Buy B2G1 promotion; Super Smash Bros. Brawl- Toys R Us B2G1 Free promotion).
Here's a link to the offer online:
http://www.target.com/gp/browse.html/ref=sc_iw_r_1_0_3_1/?node=2233651011
If anyone has any success in store choosing any two Wii games and getting any additional Wii game free, let us know. I was going into this offer hoping to pick up Super Mario Galaxy along with a couple other games (I was going to decide once I got to Target).

Anyone get a $5 of $25 coupon from Target in the mail today (Thursday)? That helps a bit if you're in a sales tax state.
No, but I got a 10% off coupon code good for this week for ordering from them last holiday (I ordered Dead Space for $30 and Guitar Hero III for $20- part of their Black Friday offers last year). If only all the games were available (instead of only 16 listed) for the B2G1 Free, I'd be all over it. It knocks another $15 off the order (10% off $149.97- three $49.99 games, meaning $64.99 off the entire order).

ANY idea when Target will do Buy 2 Get 1 Free on Xbox 360 or Ps3 games??
they did buy 1 get 1 free not that long ago.
And Gamestops' Buy 2 Get 1 Free I am boycotting because. They will Open the games, And they will try and sneak open used game as New to sell you. I'd rather avoid a fight at GS.
Gamestop B2G1 is always for Preowned/used games.

Picked up the Simpsons Season 12 and also picked up Family Guy Vol 7.
I'm probably going to return Family Guy... WTF is up with them releasing them as half the episodes per volume? I picked it up thinking it was the entire season but then realized something's was up when I noticed it was only 13 eps when I got home.
Tried to PM Simpson season 12 collector's Ed. @ BB but got denied because the website shows it's the reg. Edition on sale. So just to spite the supervisor I bought out the four copies of the regular edition and made her PM. As she was ringing me up I asked her why she couldn't match the CE and she said the difference was too high; I reminded her that they were the same price to which she started stuttering. I ended it there; I'll just sell these on amazon for a quick buck.

Good luck flipping those. Considering Target has plenty of them in stock, I'm guessing the value on Ebay will plummet to nothing.
Yeah, I can sell them to clueless friends, too. Anyhow, I apparently got a $5 gift card for spending $50. I don't see that in the ad...nor on the website; oh well.

A lot of us do, newbie.
The difference is that me, and a lot of other people, enjoy all the consoles, that way, we won't miss great games.
So, I enjoy the same games you do, plus more. I'm enjoying Uncharted 2 at the moment, and in two more weeks I'm going to enjoy New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

I feel the very same way. If a game is worth playing, I'll buy that system simply to play that game. Usually when that happens, I end up finding much more to like about the system, and thanks to that one game I was able to experience other games that I wouldn't have been able to otherwise.

I was in Target today checking the clearance section, and the Wii isle was loaded with mothers and small children.
That's (part) of whose buying Wii games, just as I predicted somewhere else in this thread, and a big part of the reason why the Wii is/was until the past couple of months making money hand over fist... lots of consoles purchased, then parents buy (somewhat) cheap shovelware for kids. I've sold a handful of games on Craigslist and they were all to mothers buying them for their daughters, and they weren't even girl games (it was stuff like Wii Play). The majority here don't want or appreciate shovelware or kiddy games, but its obviously selling to someone.

Just a heads up here. The buy 2 get 1 free Wii game sale- is NOT valid on all wii games. When I went there today, I was told by the manager that it is only Valid on select Wii titles.
I had the cashier try titles that were not marked with a buy 2 get 1 free sale promo. And sure enough, they didn't work.
When you look closely at the ad- it will say chose from 80 titles. So if you want to take advantage of the sale- be sure to pick from the titles that are marked with the buy 2 get 1 free sale promo.

True, the Ad does say "Choose Over 80 Titles", no needing to look
closely to see that. But, looking closely at the small print is the
important part: "Free offer includes ALL $49.99 or less Wii games."
Aside from the price restriction, in no place does the ad mention
any game restrictions -- Nor does it say the Ad doesn't apply only
to Regularly priced games, new games, games pictured, etc. The
checker gave me the same excuse as they gave you, when the
games weren't ringing up as B2G1 (I selected 3 clearance Wii
games, which didn't ring up on the Promo), but after a bit of
arguing with them (because the AD clearly does say "ALL"), they
finally gave in. YMMV if they'll give in to you, of course.

Heh I tried that same argument when the cashier gave me the select game only excuse. That is when they called the manager. They refused to budge at all. So it is definitely a YMMV with this promo.
Congrats on getting your games. :)
edit to add: To Indiana jones- mario kart and mario party 8 are part of the selected group of games. At least they were at my local store.

I went into my local Target and made sure that all Wii games were B2G1 free. I was told that any Wii game priced between $14.99 and $49.99 was eligible.
Though their selection wasn't great (then again I bought most of the things I wanted during all the previous B2G1 free offers at Amazon, Best Buy, and Toys R Us), I was able to get Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports Resort with Wii Motion Plus, and Mario Super Sluggers. I was also able to use a $10 off coupon I found here at CAG which stated "Buy any two Wii games and get $10 off". So for all three games, the total was $89.98 with tax. Not a bad haul! :D
