We want what you want. We grew up loving games like Contra, Gunstar Heroes, and Metal Slug. We like our explosions big, and our bosses bigger. We think it's cool to drive bulldozers through buildings and ramp snowmobiles onto unsuspecting Soviet soldiers, so we work late hours to give you all that!

They also describe one of their video effects as being "like in Samurai Showdown".

I know I've posted about this game before, but I think that Alien Hominid is the biggest step in the right direction for the game industry that I've seen a game take in quite some time. With Katamari Damacy having so much cult-success, hopefully this game will succeed as well. Read more about it at their site, it looks great!

It kinda looks like it has a Viewtiful Joe feel to it......which isn't really a bad thing.

same, personally when I played this game on newgrounds i didnt think too much of it, I thought it was kinda stupid of them too even consider making this a game

I might get it in the TRU B2GO sale, since Animal Crossing is $20 now. I want Wario Ware and Mario Advance 4, both $30 games... and I want to maximize my savings. :)

Yeah, I never actually beat the one on newgrounds, but I suppose this is a better idea than charging $20 to down load a slightly upgraded one form thier siite like a lot of other groups do.

I've been jonesing for some old school 2-D action and this game looks fun.

I think its pretty cool these guys started as just independent gamers who wanted to make an awesome game. I'll definitely support them.

So they say. I'd get the GC version of Alien Hominid. I would've anyway, since I only have a GC and a PS2.

GCN version is supposed to be superior for a change. And if an Xdude version is ever released, it will be better than PS2, as well.

Yeah, when I first saw it this did remind me of Viewtiful Joe. Couldn't find any reviews yet but it definetly looks like a fun game.
