It's a play on the old Two Wrongs Don't make a Right... I don't understand why people have to take it as a race issue. It is not race related.

I myself don't care for their stuff, but half of my school does, the other half is in to the Hollister stuff. I find it quite funny when they pass each other. It's like two gangs, I'm just waiting for when they duke it out.

Its weird because I remember when Asians were protesting that shirt when it came out. Yet, I see a lot of Asians here in Berkeley wearing A & Fitch clothing.
I just dont get it. Their clothes are not paticularly interesting and why would you wearing clothes that make fun of your ethnic group??

That's not a shirt I'd be caught wearing, but if anything the gymnastics association just boosted sales for them by opening their mouth.

I don't buy "used" clothing for ridiculously high prices so I don't wear A & F stuff.

Personally, I hate all those clothing stores, since all they do is plaster their name on the clothing and then bump up the price for it. It's not like the name actually means anything outside of the world of clothing. I don't have a problem wearing band shirts or sports shirts or even my set of RVD shirts, since they actually mean something. I just refuse to give a clothing manufactuer that much free advertisment at my expense. Oh well.

Abercromibie has one thing going for it, their clothes last a very long time. I havent bought anything new from them in the past 3 years but the stuff I bought before fit and look as good as they day I bought them.

See this quote:"No individual, regardless of race, gender, age, intelligence or athletic ability, can or should be deemed a loser," ......I disagree...especially since I know of some who deem themselves as such..hope to pick it up for them before they're discontinued...but only if it's available in that puke green color...

Its always been Abercrombie and Fitch vs. American Eagle Outfitters and Aeropostale at my school. They're the official brands of the prep.
The rest of us just wears normal clothes.

You know the sad thing about it, that shirt probably is easily selling for like $40 or so, and thats crap, the most expensive piece of clothing I buy are football jersey and even then they only cost about $50. Just stupid pretty people shit.

I always get into arguements with my girlfriend about their (and other stores like them) clothes. They have all sorts of "vintage" style shirts with different places/bands, etc. She says it's okay to wear shirts even if you don't know the band/place on the shirt, I think its just stupid to wear a shirt when I have no interest in the band or place.

People should wear whatever they want as long as it falls into common decency laws and isn't nasty (in both sight and smell). If someone wants to buy a&F, then go for it. Personally, I want to make a shirt that's really all-out offensive and wear it. Social protest, baby.

The only good thing Aeropostale has ever done is put Mischa Barton in one of their ad campaigns. Which, unfortunately, is no more, so fuck them.
Here's some pics of Mischa:

i've been in the abercrombie store a few times, and although their clothing is way overpriced, that's not the problem i have with the store. the thing that i don't get is why they have the techno literally throbbing at an insanely loud volume. i mean, jesus, it's to the extent where it upsets my stomach and gives me the impression that there will be intense defecation.
i just go to sears to buy my jeans.

That's funny, but I can see how people would be really pissed off to see that stuff. Abercrombie & Fitch seem to be turning into tshirthell.com...

Personally I just think the L is for Loser hits a little close to home for too many gymnasts who are clearly not Olympic caliber, I mean what else you gonna do as a gymnast, play in the local gymnast league one the weekend? It's barely a sport and they feel the need to whine to get some publicity every now and then.

I think people should just get over it. It's a fucking shirt, if they don't like it, don't buy it. Simple as that.

Scandal is the least expensive form of PR. The amount of time TV, newspapers, and the web will devote to mentioning Abercrombie & Fitch over and over is worth tens of millions in advertising purchases.
My casual wear consists primarily of shirts from failed dot.com companies and related products of the era. I came home from one Comdex with about 70 shirts, not including duplicates. So I'm set for a long time.

Worst clothing ever. It looks and feels like it's used and has already been worn before. i dont know how these guys sell so much.
When i was at college EVERYONE was a yuppy and wore this clothing. I didtn see what the big deal was.
Stupid rich kid fads. Just like how most of them drove VW Jetta's to complete their pretty boy looks.
