(Or Shadowman, don't remember which I played first) The first game I can remember playing with a lot of in game speach, I think, was Conker's and I was completely blown away (I had only had an N64, so I missed out on such things as FMVs and other things with full speach) Can't wait for Live and Reloaded on Xbox

From what people are saying it seems like Shadowman would be the answer. It was pre Jet Grind Radio which was pre Conker's.

The first time I heard shit with voices in a game was Shenmue for the Dreamcast. When you try to get info from one of the gang members on the dock, he says something like: "I don't know shit!"

Me and my friends would just keep talking to him to hear him say it. He said it every 4th or 5th time you talked to him.

But in the Riddick game you hear the F word every couple of minutes.

Barrett in FFVII says it early in the game, when they go to the second reactor to bomb it. They're ambushed and he says "SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I remember because at the time my 12 year old stepbrother was playing it in the living room, and he left the room at the exact moment when the text pops up. My stepdad walked in like "What the shaq-fu is that?" and went on about how games were getting too adult nowadays.

I think it was just written, not spoken. But I do remember it. The first time I played it it said shit on the screen and it really surprised me. Its like when I heard shit in the Transformers movie. "Ah shit, now what are we gonna do?"
