Im not too sure if this has been asked before, but does anyone else have problems with the countdown for the lightning deals? When I refresh the page it seems like it resets 20 seconds or fast forwards 15. Does this give some people an advantage of a couple seconds on these deals?

SPOLIER:

There are two main bad guys, a middle eastern guy and a russion ultra nationalist. The russian guy was almost assassinated 15-20 years before and now only has one ar. You chase after his son, who kills himself. this causes him to launch multiple, in the words of W, "nucular" missles. One of the 2 playable characters is a mrine that gets killed when the middle eastern guys detonates a "nucular" bomb when his squad is trying to escape.

Yeah, there's not much difference between the 2. The GOTY edition was just a marketing ploy to sell more copies. I had the GOTY edition, and aside from having a different cover, there wasn't any difference between it and my friend's original version.

if you don't plan to play MW1 online, the bonus promo online maps won't be missed. it's one of the few games that are great and all the achievements can be done without XBL. (for those that either dont have gold or much complete every game possible)
