No. All they do is just add the $10 gc that you get for buying Dragon Age on it's own. Buy both on Tuesday between 10am-2pm and you'll get a $30 gc. Buy after 2pm-Saturday and you'll only get a $20 gc.

Everybody with coupons need to check the exclusions. Seems like on some coupons video games are excluded. I got next weeks ad and it has a coupon for a free $10 gc with purchase of $75 or more and video games is on the excluded list.

YMMV. It is hard to get Best Buy to price match gift cards. Their policy states that they will reduce $20 off the price of the game to compensate, however.

Also, sometimes the price they say on the net does NOT match what they actually give you.

On the back of the valid coupon it excludes video game HARDWARE only and other things not relevant. There is also a promotional code that can be used for online purchases but I would rather not publish that in the even that it is unique to my coupon (I want the deal).

their trade in service is horrible compared to gamestops. First of all they said they didn't accept trade ins, but after talking to the manager it turns out that they do. Than they wouldn't accept any games without a case, and you have to be 18 in order to trade games in.

And you have to be careful with those Big Book coupons...they don't include gift card purchases which is how TRU rings up the COD MW2 deal ($39.99 game + $20 GC = $59.99). Two managers took about ten minutes and still couldn't figure out how to apply the coupon back when I bought Batman and ended up just refunding me $10.

So I preorder MW2 today at TRU and asked them if I would be able to get both the $20 and $10 GC since $20 is a "Bonus" for Rewards R Us members with $10 the normal GC offer. The guy went back to ask another sales associate (probably wasn't the manager) and said yes I would be able to get both GC.

But then I asked again since the guy who rang up my preorder gave me the wrong version of the game and asked the new sales associate that redid my preorder and she told me no that the $10 GC was only for people who get it after the 10am-2pm sale.

Any TRU employees (managers?) or other CAGers want to clarify on there experiences asking about this? I came home and combed over the fine print in the Ad. Doesn't say anything about not being able to stack the two GC offers and the $20 GC is listed as a "Bonus for Reward R Us members" and it's for a limited time. So I'm going to try to argue that the normal GC offer is $10 GC but since I'm a Rewards R Us member and I'm here between 10am-2pm that, per the Ad, I should get the $20 GC as a Bonus to the $10 GC.

What does everything think about that?

On my big book, I got one in the mail, the coupons were printed in the back last page. My toys r us never has any of the printed stuff anymore, I suspect because people come in and take them for pricematching at other stores. I have however asked if they had one behind the customer service counters, and taken it to bestbuy for pricematching. I don't bother with pricematching at bestbuy any more though. It is such a HASSLE with them to follow their own corporate policy. Last time they refused to pricematch the TRU gc offer, I showed them their own printed policy and they REFUSED.. I asked to use their phone to call their 800 #, they said they would refund me $20 back to my card after 7 days and apologized, but it was such a HASSLE. screw BB.. I even have a $5 reward zone award I will never spend in there. oh well.. they lost another customer. anyway, with TRU/amazon/walmart those guys will FIGHT for our business, unlike Best Buy. :bouncy:

if you are worried about the TRU giftcard expiring on you, just buy anything else with it. Make sure you get a gift receipt. Then just return it with either the regular receipt, or the gift receipt. You will get back a regular gift card back that says store-credit and doesn't expire so quick.

if you are worried about the TRU giftcard expiring on you, just buy anything else with it. Make sure you get a gift receipt. Then just return it with either the regular receipt, or the gift receipt. You will get back a regular gift card back that says store-credit and doesn't expire so quick.

I would think that you can do 2 separate 20$ gift cards for two separate transactions, but since its for the Rewards zone members promo, not too sure if the system will limit it to one per customer for mw2. and as stated at the end of the op post, they aren't sure if the coupon will work but won't hurt to try. I don't even have the big book coupon :( I guess well hear all the adventures tomorrow morning.

I was able to get 2 copies of GTA Episodes, I tried to use the 10 gc coupon on 75 or more, but they rang the GTA games up at 27.99 each and charged the difference for each on the gift cards. I bought one for 25, and it still didn't work (I didn't think it would), but she did an override. So I got 35 in promotional gift cards, plus the 10 dollar extra coupon gift card.. then I will walk in tomorrow and get MWF2 for 5 bucks and an extra gc. I just totally rocked this midnite sale of modern warfare 2 at my Best Buy. I'm friends with the workers and managers (toke them out). I got them to price match the TRU deal with $10 off the game and $10 gift card. Then I got the manager to lower it another $15 cuz my RZ points weren't showing up online for me to print them. Then I used the $20 gift card and the $10 gift card from when they pm'd the Batman AA TRU deal and gave me both their g.c. and the tru g.c. If you are planning on getting MW2 together with Liberty City at Toys R Us, you are better off getting them at Amazon. Buy MW2 and then use the $20 Amazon credit to put towards Liberty City which is only $33.99 at Amazon. And of course you pay no tax and free shipping. TRU is gonna charge you sales tax. I stopped by TRU this morning and picked up the regular version of the game for my brother. I picked up the Hardened edition last night for myself at BB, but those guys there told me I couldn't get a price match on TRU's $20 gift card deal. So this morning I got my $20 gift card and game from TRU and I then went to my local Best Buy and took the receipt from that as well as the ad and went to the customer service desk and the college chick there begrudgingly gave me $10 gift card back to match TRU's non-doorbuster part of the ad for my Hardened Edition of the game, but didn't give me the full $20 back since she said she said it was only good for the regular edition of the game. (Yeah, sure, college chick) She tried to tell me that they didn't price match gift cards promos from other stores and I said "Yes you do" and gave her a copy of their own matching policy. She tried to tell me that the big blue sign behind her was new and said they didn't, but I told her I just printed their policy off their site just last night. I then went and picked up a regular edition of the game and got it for $30 total since they price matched the TRU $20 gift card and also still honored their $10 gift card for reward zone members. Sweeeeeeet. I will return the TRU copy of the game and gift card soon. All in all I got a regular copy of the game for $30 for my brother and the Hardened edition of the game also got $40 off when all discounts and reward zone credits were applied. I love it when a plan comes together.

Damn Best Buy in-Store pick up, they sent me an e-mail 11/09 that it's ready to pick-up my game MW2 on 11/10. I went to their Midnight launch party and waited for almost 2 hrs. When I tried to pick up my game, they won't me to get my game. They want me to come early morning, not midnight. That's BS! It's still 11/10. You need to of gotten the Big Book in the mail. TRU does this from time to time so unlike most stores, it helps to give them your accurate information (name,number,etc.). Haven't seen a scan of the coupon here though (I guess everyone assumes it might be for your use only. Sometimes barcodes can do that).

Good thing there was a bunch of copies and there was a bit of line which took about 15 mins or so. I pre-ordered (reserved) a copy of MW2 for $5 last week when I saw that TRU would have a good deal on stuff. I planned on using my $5 off coupon for Band Hero that I got when I had bought GH5. I also was going to use the $10 GC for a purchase of $75+ coupon. So my total should have been $70 + $40 for 2 games & a $40 GC.

I got to TRU at 9:50, they said come back in 10 minutes for the deal :hot:
whatever, so I walked next door to look at the Target Clearance crap, and then came back at 10:00. There were now 7 people in line at the R'Zone games counter :hot: for the MW2 deals...

After waiting a few minutes, I get to the counter, have them pull out my reserved MW2, and a copy of BH. I give them my pre-order coupon, and my BH coupon, and my $10 GC for $75+ coupon, and they proceed to ring it up (incorrectly).

My total comes up, and it's $120 + tax..... :hot::hot:
I say, no, that's wrong. They try and show me the screen, but can't because I need to pay, so I pay (my mistake), and then the receipt prints, and it has the wrong total, and I keep telling them that it is wrong, and should have been $10 less.

Mine was a hassle. Got there at 9:30, they let me buy the game and gave me a $10 gc. Told me to come back at 10:00 if I wanted the $20 gc. Came back later at 10 and it took about 20 min for them trying to figure out how to void the deal/$10 gc and add the $20 gc to the new receipt. They were really nice about the whole ordeal though.

Everything went great at TRU for me. They ran out of the paper gift cards, so they gave regular gift cards that don't expire and have no activation time. There was a steady stream of people coming in to get the game, even at 11:30. The old lady working the games counter had no idea why it was so popular :P

Also gave a $10 Up coupon to some mom who was buying it, which got her pretty excited.

Wow, I did well at Gamestop. Called ahead for a used Valkyria Chronicles.
Traded in LBP ($10.25) and Uncharted 1 ($9.25) for $40 + 10% edge = $41.94 off of MW2 Promo.

Used this week's promo 20% off one game when purchased with MW2 for VC.
VC was $17.99 - $3.60 promo - $1.80 edge = $12.59 (WOOT)

so $59.99 + $12.59 + $6.35 TAX = $78.93 - $41.94 TIV = $36.99 for both games
I used trade in credit I had from last year and paid nothing out of pocket which was the primary goal.
Else I would have bought at TRU or Amazon as their deal was better without trade-ins.
$45 credit left to spend... Hmm L4D2 is coming soon!

I checked this on the website. It's $40 for the Wii version and $50 for the PS3/Xbox360 versions.

I'm going to hold out for a bigger price drop as soccer games aren't all that popular in the states.

Nope. That $20 was online only on WM's web site for preorders only. They were competing with Amazon for the same $20 bonus deal, but both offers are dead now.

I went to TRU this weekend for Mario Wii and another game. I returned two games I got from the Buy 2 get 1 free sale a little ways back - and to my surprise, they exchanged it and gave me the 20$ credit from the sale that is going on this weekend. (Buy one get $20 off another game over $40)
