Part of me sort of wishes I got Live 10 this year instead of 2k10, but 2k10's graphics and presentation are off-the-charts good and a patch is coming soon which may hopefully fix a lot of the issues it has.

Still, Live is catching up to 2k and at this price it might be worth a look.

2K10 is so frickin' hard. It seems like you can only score if you use the plays on the D-pad.

I'll have to think about picking up Live. Based on the demo, it was smooth as butter and easier to play. But presentation-wise and animation-wise, 2K10 is much better.

That's how basketball is played. You just can't cheese with a good player and score every time. You have to call good plays. 2K9 was terrible if you knew how to score with a great player. 2k10 still has the problem but not as much.

+1

but it seems people want the arcade-y experience of yore. 2k10 is bordering simulation territory.

I have both 2k10 and Live. I think Live is losing this round because of previous reputation. (hence the quick lightning deal)

This year, Live is better than 2k10. The menu interface on 2k10 is also ridiculous. Listen, we don't need a slick interface. We just want to get to the game. Work on the game aspects.

Correciton: had 2k10. I traded it in already.

I need 2k10, just for the My Player mode, even with all the bugs.
:/
Hoping for a sale soon, or maybe a cheap used copy - I don't want to support a developer who releases a game with massive bugs.
