I didn't play this time. No time to buy tickets. I won $3 of my $5 dollars back from wednesday's game though. :D

My mom wanted me to get one, but I have to be 21. Pretty much my parents, my mom's side of the family, and their two neighbors have gotten tickets for it. So there's probably around 100 tickets total. Probably no winners, though.

$215 million...well, it looks as if I may have to purchase a few dollars in lottery tix if nobody wins tonight. I usually don't win anything, though.

You plan on winning a couple hundred million dollars and yet you're still a cheapass. I think if you win the powerball jackpot you can finally afford to buy games at full price.

It needs to be over about 120 million for it to be worth it. Otherwise your expected earnings are negative. As it is, the expected earning are only about .75 per ticket. Of course that is all pre-tax. I'm not sure how much it would be post-tax.
