Any ideas on the best headset that puts game audio also? I've been looking at these Skullcandy lowriders, but someone told me they do not have a mute button. Any good suggestions?

stay away from skullcandy? i have the lowriders, they suck, as well as the smoked buds and another "higher end" set. skull candy just all around sucks. are you looking for ones with a buiolt in mic, or just plain headphones? i use an old pair of sony mdr-cd180 or panasonic brainshakers for gaming.

I'm looking for a pair with the mic also. I've seen the Turtlebeach sets, but I didn't want to have to drop $100 for a pair.

Turtlebeach makes the best damn headset I've ever owned. I used it on L4D and you can seriously hear a Tank breathing from a mile away.

I've got the original turtle beaches (X1s?) and they are great. It's just a pain having cords running all over my room.

Love the Tritton's (AX 360), though, they make headsets that work for both the 360 and PS3 now, I believe they are the Pro models. 5.1 Dolby Digital was awesome for games like Gears of War 2 late at night, no one could sneak up and chainsaw me with these puppies.
