Just curious to those who have 2 or more 360's in the house. Can you play against each other from each console in the home like system link? And how about saves from one console to the next. Do i have to get a memory card and copy saved files to it then pop it in the other console to continue play?
I am just trying to decide if having two consoles is the way to go. I picked one of those walmart ones up so I don't have a extra hard drive. Any input would be appreciated.

Are these serious questions?

If you have two consoles, why wouldn't you be able to play against each other? As long as there's two XBox Live Gold accounts, it's fine.

Why would you want to copy one saves to another console in the same house? Yes, you can use a memory card, but just find a good deal on a hard drive on ebay.. you can find the 120gb drive for $70 or so.

I have 3 consoles atm. Gonna do a transfer from my Halo edition to my MW2, and give my brother my original as a Christmas gift :)

I'm gonna see if I can intall my Halo innards into my PC tower just for kicks :)

Use a memory card and also just always save your games on it too. Then you can easily move between systems.

I also had 3 360s at one point, I gave one to my brother for Xmas a couple of years ago. I haven't networked them together yet, mostly because I'm too cheap to buy another TV. Right now I keep one 360 hooked up to my living room TV, and the other I take with me to family gatherings for NBA/NHL/Top Spin tournaments.

If you are only going to have one HD, I recommend you mod it. You can just swap the drive between the 2 Xboxes as necessary.

I had 2, sold the pro and kept the elite.

depends on what you use it for, if I had 2 again, I'd just keep one in the living room for netflix and the other in my office just for videogames.

This is wrong, most games have a LAN (System link) mode that does not require live in any way shape or form.

It isn't wrong, it just isn't a fully comprehensive answer.

I agree with 100xp. I have my elite in the LR more for Netflix and caual gaming and an arcade in my office for hard core play all night type stuff.

i got 2...its good for system link. have a friend bring over the same game and we can do co-op on 2 tvs. better than split screen.

I have 2, but whenever I try to move my harddrive or a memory card from one to the other my gamertag and a lot of my saves somehow become corrupt. I have to restore my gamertag almost every time I switch XBoxes. I'm sure this is an isolated incident, but its a huge pain for me.
