are there any clans or groups for people who suck at games? either people who just lack skill or who don't have time to play alot to get good? i fall into a bit of both. i'd like to find people around my skill level to play with. it gets kinda tiring playing online and getting repeatedly squashed by people who play the game all the time and have their skills honed. don't get me wrong, i don't mind losing in a game, it just gets frustrating to lose all the time to people who are alot better and i stand little to no chance against. kinda like bringing a knife to a gun fight. i'm looking for the other people with knives :p

I'd say just jump on with the CAG group, there should be enough of them to help you out. I'm in the same boat as you, I don't have time to play but once a week, but I get lucky because my cousin is a truck driver and he has a lot of down time on week nights at the truck stop, so he pretty much plays the game for a living. Between his awesomeness and my not so awesomeness we usually fair ok.

This is the main reason I haven't bothered with Modern Warfare 2. I don't have the time to get really good at it so I cant be bothered to shell out $60 for it. I'll stick with Dragon Age. I can play it at my own pace.

I'm not horrible, but definately had better skills when I didn't work, have a stable girlfriend, and go to school.

Add my XBL Gamertag.

Join a CAG group. It's usually casual and light on the competition.

I don't even think you have to be "really good" to enjoy games like MW2. Just play with friends, and if not, find a online community to play with and talk to.

There is a bunch of guys on Goozex that play as a group. Laid back and no crap is put up with. Check the forums over there for games and times.

Yep, I suck at CoD and have a lot of fun playing with CAGs. I tend to do better K/D ratio wise playing with randoms (or playing with other CAGs against teams of randoms) as most of the regulars in the CAG group are pretty good--but its still more fun playing with CAGs and losing vs. playing with randoms and putting up with all the crap.

Suck? No no... I go by "I want to have fun, not play with tOOl/Douches that define their life by playing online and being at the top." If I played that much I'd be able to do that too.

Anyway, I'll play online with friends or maybe a CAG clan otherwise fuck that.

Its CAG CoD MW2. MSUHitman said he would have to clear some room on the list since its near 100 friends.
Normally, with the CAG group you just play for the fun of it just to play with others we know.

Most every game has it's own group tag on CAG. cdeener posted the one for MW2, there's CAGHALO for Halo (if mod io is still updating it,) and others strown about. There's also a sticky thread at top of the forum useful for finding other players.

If I may make a shameless plug, the Ragtag CAG Social Group is a great, active CAG community for gaming. Although it's predominately made up of the core members of the CoD 4/WatW/MW 2 group, we play several different games.

The group was founded mainly during games of CoD 4 and WatW with some Team Fortress 2 mixed in. Over the last year, our main games have been: SF IV, Quantum of Solice, Shadowrun, Halo 3 ODST, Borderlands, and now MW 2 with some sports games (Madden, NHL, UFC, Fight Night, Forza 3) and discussion of non-multiplayer games (Dragon Age, Batman, etc.) mixed in.

If you're interested, just PM Chase and see about getting access to the group forum under the CAG Social Group section.

I have to admit that I do have the MW2 CAG name on my friends list but when I get online and check it and see people with 10-20k gamerscore, I know they are prob good and don't want a noob like me on their team so I don't go into any of those games.....lol

I play in the CAG COD games and I suck. My current kill/death ratio at MW2 is .51. I've never gotten crap for sucking from any of the CAGs. As they said above, we all just play for fun and don't get too upset about losing matches etc.

I think the only reason I've never looked into joining any kind of CAG clan or gaming group is that I hardly ever play multiplayer. Then again, I hardly ever play multiplayer because I know I'd always be the weak link in any kind of team deathmatch games. I do have a few CAGs in my friends list, but I don't know if I've ever actually played any multiplayer with any of them.

I may have to look into the CAG group. In the meantime, if anyone wants to add me, feel free. (If you friend request me, mention that you're a CAG) The last thing I'd ever do is give anyone (especially a fellow CAG) any crap about their gaming skills. My primary time for gaming is weekday mornings, 6:00-7:30 am EST before my kids are up, or 9:00-11:30 am EST after I've dropped them off at school.
