You can import one from Play-asia, but you'll need a freeloader to play US games on it since it's made for a jap/asia version

He already has the Q, he's looking for the GB Player.

I could have sworn I saw this in stock somewhere recently, but I must have been imagining things. Good luck with your search tho (and congrats on getting a Q) :)

I wasn't talking about the Q, they have the GBPlayer for the Q as well over at Play-asia.

Sorry, I misunderstood since you mentioned the freeloader.

I heard the Q GB Player is really rare.

Isn't buyrite supposed to be a really fucking bad place to buy from?

They aren't good, but they aren't bad either. I've gotten stuff from them in the past, but it is usually a really shitty price and it usually takes a long time.

I would go and see if they have one at their store, but their store and their website have different prices.

plus their store is run by dicks. It is well known in Raleigh to avoid Buy-Rite

Probably less trouble and expense to have a regular US GameCube and GBPlayer for this purpose. How much more effort are you going to put into what is nothing more than an expensive conversation piece?

that looks an awful lot like the GC BG player. You should find a friend that has one and try it. It would seem kind of stupid for the big N to make accessories incompatible between the Q and GC.

the Q GBP is different than a regular GBP

judyjudyjudy

Yeah, I believe the Q is larger/wider and I think it has feet thingies on the bottom, so the regular GB Player wouldn't work.

I didn't even know the Q had a compatible GB player with its feet on the bottom.

Yeah, it has its own special gameboy player. I read they only made about 10k of the Q players.
I myself would like one too, since i just got a Q.

Goodluck finding one for cheap.
