new xbox 360 elite

Hey guys i purchased a new xbox 360 elite at gamestop but i notice that the xbox's chrome disk tray has a couple of small vertical dents on the front next to the xbox 360 logo. its not noticable until you put a light next to it.. I was wondering if this is normal and how they make it.

There shouldn't be any dents. Return it for another one. Also the disc drive may have been damaged during shipment.
