Official Ps3 Bluetooth Headset - Static output noise

I have an official Ps3 bluetooth Headset, and I don't know if anyone else has encountered similar problems, but when I turn it on, its makes all this static noise when i speak into it and everyone I talk to say it sounds like a washing machine. But I can hear every one else very clearly.

The headset and the controller is fully charged, I paired it up correctly, what could be the problem? All help is appreciated. :bomb::bomb::bomb::bomb:

Sounds like (har har) a bad headset. you should get it replaced.

Yeah, I might just do that. I won't give up yet though. To clarify, this is the official ps3 headset that was bundled with the socom confrontation bundle.

I can hear everything perfectly, its just that what I start talking or the bluetooth picks up the noise it sounds all bad and like a washing machine. I really want to make an attempt to fix this problem before I end up replacing it.
