Any word ona 250GB Hard Drive coming out for Sale???

I do have a 120GB Hard Drive but I am running low on space. I install ALL my games as since doing so I have had this system for a little over a year. The installs make my system run so much cooler.

I need this bigger Hard Drive so I can get other games. I could get maybe 2 more games before Im completely out of space.

I do have 42 Arcade Games installed and ALL the updates for Oblivion and GTA4 installed as well. PLus the Extra content for Forza as well.

Sad to say but....E-bay is your best bet. Probably where the wife is going to snag one for me for christmas.

I wish it would, but it would be incredibly expensive. I have a launch 20 GB and I'm finally looking for more space as I want to start installing games on the HDD as well. Like Vulcan said, ebay is probably the best chance. I'm still holding out for some deal on the MW2 console for Cyber Monday, but I don't think that's gonna happen.

Just to clear it up. THe 42 Arcade games have come since the 360 Launch. a Few were FREE that Came WITH 12 month packages that I got deals on or Arcade Sticks that came with 4 games. so yes 42 is ALOT but over a 4 year span isnt too bad. Deleted TotemBall and that other Free Game Yaris, and the Free one MS gave when XBL was fucked up 2 Xmas' ago.

Back on topic...You may end up being better off picking up one of the Modern Warfare Special edition consoles, like the Microsoft store deal, and selling yours after transferring everything over. I looked for a 250gb drive a couple of days back, and they're catching a pretty big premium on ebay (for the legit ones).

One question...even if you're done with the game, you keep the install on the HDD? I installed Assassin's Creed when I was playing it, but as soon as I was done, I deleted it. If I ever go back to it for some reason, I'll just run it off the disc...it's no big deal. Maybe put an extra fan on your system if you're that's worried about it? Really, if you're that worried about it, get the 250gb system (Jasper) and use a fan.

I agree that your best bet is the MS Store deal on the MW2 console.

Buy a MW2 edition 360. Transfer your stuff from your current HDD to the 250GB drive. Plop your 120GB drive onto the MW2 edition 360. Sell on eBay for $299-$349.

That doesn't really mean much. They can say one thing today and say another tomorrow. If there is a market for it, MS will release it. Right now, they looking to move the MW2 consoles. Later on, when that dries up, they will almost certainly release the drive on its own. For what price, though?

I'm waiting on a 250gb too. I have a 120gb with 47gb left. I have about 107 xbl arcade games, every expansion for gta iv, mass effect, every cod game and tons of dlc and videos. I don't bother installing games anymore. I have tb headset so I can't even hear the disc spinning.

MN is a marketing man. He's gonna say what it takes to move the current product. The MW2 console is the current product. Like I said, when the MW2 heat dies down, they will sell the 250GB HDD on its own. The price, though, will probably be sick.
