maybe, log on at ebay and see if the the site tells you the same thing.
This sounds like the scam emails that appear all the time. Go to the real ebay and talk to Customer Service. DO NOT reply to the emails!

I second that. It sounds really fishy, especially the $350 part in the second email.

Sounds like phishing to me. FORWARD your e-mails to spoof@ebay.com. They will tell you if it's legit. Don't be surprized if its not.

This should be a good tip-off that they want you to send them your cc info asap. Very scam-a-licious!
Plus, there is no fee to get your account off suspension. Just a set amount of time you must wait.

Well, I just logged into the official ebay site and nothing came up with required update info or a fee if your account is not updated window. Shit, this gets me mad :x knowing that their are fucking as-sh-oles in this world.
I'm sure the second one isn't from eBay. I've been sent the same one several times. You should send it to the address CappyCobra posted.

I've gotten at least a dozen different types of those damn ebay scam emails.
Anything asking you for account or billing information is definitely a fraud, they're trying to screw you.

that totally sucks. I mean people who actually do this thinking they are legit lose so much money to some assholes who cant go out and make their own money legit.

it's definitely fraud. i recieved those same emails yesterday or the day before.
as someone else mentioned, if there's ever any doubt as to the validity of an email like that, just log into your ebay or paypal account normally and see if they notify you of any problems.
