i won a game on OCT 2 and the shipping was 2-3 day mail right. WEll i email the dude last night and they said they printed out a shipping label and that is their proof that they sent it. The label has a number but all it says when you check it (Seller has printed out a label and will be picked up later) They are trying to say that this is their proof they sent it. Im like anyone can print out a freaking shipping label and never send the game if that is your proof. After that never got another email from them
HOw long should i give them
Thanks

Did you pay with paypal? if you did then email paypal who will put a freeze on thier account, most sellers don't like this and if your game hasn't been sent it will come very soon.

did he say when he shipped it, i wouldn't worry about it untill the end of the week. I ship a lot from ebay, and some people get them really fast, and some it takes a lot longer then anticipated...what were their feedback at...if they shipped on the 2nd...have him ask the post office to look into it...if he just shipped it the middle of last week, then don't worry about it untill friday

I'd wait about 2 hours before putting in the report.

yes if by check see if its cleared and cancel it.
They need to have delivery confirmation or they have no proof that it was sent.
If by paypal delivery confirmation is also a must.
and if that is their exact or close to exact response it doesnt sound to nice/trustworthy

I wouldn't be so worried at this point given that it's been less than two weeks since your auction concluded. You can't even submit a fraud warning to E-bay until 30 days have passed.
How in the world did you get 2-3 day shipping included in the deal without paying extra anyway? Besides, the more expensive express shipping like this is bound to have better tracking than regular U.S. post anyway, so it should be easy to call the shipping company and ask them to track down exactly where the package is.
I too have been scammed by a guy on Ebay who took my money but sent me nothing in return. I paid by US Postal money order, so when the guy didn't respond back, I filed mail fraud charges against him with the post office. That finally got his attention.

Mail Fraud Charge...Hmmmm How does this work. I lost $350 on an eBay purchase last Christmas, I was constantly in contact with the seller as he said he filed a claim through the post office. 90 days later of constant contact through email,(asking about updates on the claim) and all of a sudden he disappeared, no response and eBay kicked him out. It was too late for me to file a complaint through PayPal, eBay, or my AMEX card. I was sooooooo pissed.

At least one month! Could take that long if they used media mail! I had something take 2 months before! Just email them and keep trying if no word or item after one month then email paypal requesting your money back. They will send him a letter then you get your money either from them or paypal.

Yes, I've had some stuff take almost that long, but that's why happens when you buy from a seller in California and you live in Ohio...

Actually if you go to www.usps.com they have a program that estimates shipping times from one zip code to another. Media mail used to take months, but if you enter a media mail shipment in that program and get an estimate you'll see it doesn't take that long anymore. If someone ships media mail and you still don't have it within a month, they probably never shipped it.

Once i won an auction with 2-3 day shipping, after he received my money order he said he would ship it next day. I waited for a week and nothing in the mail so I emailed the guy. He tells me to expect it the next day. The next day I check my mail and the package arrives just like he said. I wondered to myself how did he know that it was coming - I look at the date of postage and it was dated the day before. I guess he totally forgot about mailing me my games until I emailed him that second time.

that really sucks, when things cost that much I try to find another source other than ebay because it really sucks to get screwed, a freand of mine almost feel for one of those really cheap flat screen tvs on ebay that are all fakes.
