Saw this on Ebgames.com today. I thought I saw the PS2 version at 50 bucks, so this sounds like a good teal. Free shirt too!

Gamestop.com shows it at $49.99 and it's due out the middle of November, the 16th.
Walmart.com shows it at $49.82.

Maybe the PS2 sales have been lacking so they will debut the Xbox version at a reduce price?

I tossed in a pre-order for it, I'm sure I can get in a review or two on the PS2 version before hand and maybe the XBox version. If it's crap, I'll cancel it before it ships. Either way, it's locked in at this price for me.
From the one thing I saw on it, it looked $29.99-worthy. $50, maybe not.

Yeah, I went ahead and locked it in at the $29.99 price too. I figure if MSRP drops to $29.99 everywhere, I can get it with GGC and cancel the order. If the price raises to $50, I have it locked in at $29.99

I think the problem with this one was that it was very short. Mst of the reviews state that it is a good solid game but less than 10 hours. I imagine that the price drop may get more people toshell out money for it. People like me for example.

i rented this for ps2 and beat it in a few sittings. fun while it lasts, a good hack and slash and solid gameplay, but yeah, its short. maybe not worth 50, but 30 is getting closer to the value of it.

According to the gamespot review it's very similar to The Lord of the Rings Two Towers/RotK. Made by the same developer I think.

I think that the developer of Demon Stone only made Two Towers, and RotK was made by a different developer.
Either way Im waiting for it to drop to $20, but $30 is very tempting.

True, so many AAA titles I wonder which gems will not get any attention. I think Otogi 2 will be the Beyond Good and Evil of this year...
