Question: In scdoanintendo's post ( http://cheapassgamer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9652 ) it says that KH for PS2 is $15. Who is correct?

I bought True Crime not too long ago for the ps2 with coupon for $32.99, good thing I didn't open it yet. I have to exchange it for the custom soundtrack, graphically superior x-box version. Is True Crime, Enter the Matrix, or The Getaway any good? And how do you acquire this GGC (gamer gift card) deal?

"Is True Crime, Enter the Matrix, or The Getaway any good?"

True Crime is good as long as you do not expect Grand Theft Auto LA. The game is more of an action game with elements of GTA thrown in. It wasn't the best game I have ever played but it was fun. Also, going with the xbox version is a wise choice. The Xbox version, while still not perfect, does have a little extra polish the other two are missing.

Getaway is worth playing for its 20 buck price. Again, do not expect the game to be GTA London and you will ok. The game is set up in missions, the first part of each mission is played similar to GTA (drive from point a to b using whatever roads you choose, steal other cars, go on foot etc.). The twist is that if you do not make it to your destination in time, you have to restart the mission. Once you arive at your destination the game turns into something more like syphon filter (equal mix stealth and action).

Personally, I cannot recommend the Matrix at any price. The game was rushed and has more glitches in it then ten other games combined (as long as one of those games isn't tomb raider). If you a die hard Matrix fan it is worth plodding through once for the extra footage that gives additional background on Reloaded and Revolutions but that is the only reason to play. If you really must have this game most blockbusters are selling it for less than 13 bucks.

Hope that helps.

You should probably rent True Crime first. You can beat all the story missions in less than a week, and it's up to you if finding the bones and doing the random crime missions justify enough replay value.

Enter the Matrix is a lot more fun than either of the last two movies.

Its got some bad points, but I think it got a bad rep.

Don't know if anyone cares, but CompUSA has a few PC games free after rebate...

-Serious Sam: the Second Encounter ($7 rebate)
-The Hobbit ($15 rebate)
-Conquest ($10 rebate)
-The Sims Online ($20 rebate)

I might (finally) get Serious Sam, but the others are mediocre at best.
