View Full Version : Do Guide's Cost more than the Game????

I've been playing Skies of Arcadia Legends for GC and tying to beat it before MegaTen: Nocturne comes out. To make a long story short I did, but I was looking for the guide for awhile, but never found it on eBay. A day ago I searched on eBay again and found it. I think this is ridiculous. Let me know if I'm wrong.

I haven't been looking for the guide, nor do I have it, but I can't recall ever seeing the guide in stores.

Sellers at Amazon are asking $92 and $93.21. I do not think that you will find the guide at a really cheap price.

Just wait for someone that sells guides en masse to have a cheap BIN on it. Bound to happen sometime.

Yeah, I believe the guide is out of print now. So you are only going to be able to find a copy on eBay and Amazon.com Marketplace. My advice is just go to message boards for help or go to gamefqs.com for their FAQ's. IGN has an online guide for the game for the DC version, though I am not sure if that is for Insiders-only or not.

if the guide is out of print yea its probably gonna be that price, like the fallout 2 guide, i bought one for 45 bucks because its out of print

it's been out of print for at least a year or more now. I picked one up in like new condition for 6 bucks at a used gamestore. Never really used it, just nice to have. If that thing goes for that or any higher, I think I might just sell mine.........Or fi any CAG can think of a good trade, I'd be open to that too.

Wow that's pretty impressive, I thought when they rereleased the game they would have printed a new guide but I guess from that price that they didnt.

I have been looking for that same guide for quite some time.. I haven't seen it at a reasonable price in the past year.

Aren't there a couple walkthroughs on gamefaqs.com you can use? I never buy a guide for my games, I just grab a walkthrough from there if I need help on a sticky part.

I've found in a very few games like dark cloud 2 (for the picture) the guide can be more useful but I also use gamefaqs.com when I get stuck.
