Yeah, I tried the in store pick-up, but my BB 's don't have any games that are more than 2 months old, which is lame for us CAG 's.
I would buy it but 5 bucks + 2 shipping + 30 cents. 7.30 for a game i might not play compair to 2 3 buck games at ebgames.... Thanks for the post but i think i got to pass on this one. Blowing too much money on games i will never play (got 15 sealed games now)

Ya know, if you've ordered from BB before and are registered, they probably have your credit card # saved, so you wouldn't need your credit card in your hand :D. I don't know if I'm helping or hurting the situation.

ive played the gamecube version and loved it...the gameboy version is supposed to be superior compared to the gamecube version...gamerankings.com has the gc version rated at a 78.2% while the gba version is rated at 89.8%....id say get it

I have it for Gamecube, it's not the type of game you need to devote a lot of time to. You just pick it up and play.

and girls love it too....i bought the gba version first and my gf played it once and than i never saw it again, unless i was looking in her gba....so i bought the gc version and she agrees with the reviews, that the gba version is better, but either way....we played this game days upon days....very odd for my gf to be that into a game

Its an addictive game. I picked up 2 for gifts and one for myself since I traded my copy away. Definitely worth the asking price and more.

Sweet, I bought this on my b/f's credit card, but I'm totally "borrowing" it when it gets in. Besides, I've been "borrowing" his GBA all year, and he never asked for it back.

Those $3 games @ EBGames are NFL Gameday 2004 and Final Four 2004, both awful games that pale in comparison to Madden 2004 and NCAA Basketball 2K3 (both of which are less than $5 preowned). I'd much rather own ONE quality game, like Wario Ware, than TWO subpar games. Wario Ware is one of the best games available for the GBA and a title that I'm sure I'll be playing two years from now.

Missed out. I wish BB would limit one to a customer. We all know that dealers buy multiple copies. In about a week you will find them on ebay.
I guess that is free enterprise. I wonder what is your view regarding this sticky subject.

Everyone should pick this game up. It is simple and fun and highly addictive. Worth every penny. One of the most innovative games in years.

Wrong. Won't let me do it. If the game is in-store, let me set it up for in-store pickup, I get what I'm looking for at the price they're offering.

What you should do is print out the paper that shows the game is in the store near you for 4.99.. Go to the store and if its not call 1800bestbuy and complain.

Usually I get the online price in the B&M store for BB. I always thought that the pricing system was the same for both online and B&M.
Ever since ordering Metal Arms for $5 from BB.com and never getting it I don't really trust their website anymore.

It's automatic. Any item that sells out on the website is shown in stock at all stores in the area. Even if it isn't. It's an incentive to try to get you in the store.
Hasn't Wario Ware for the GBA been $5 before? Like, last may or so? So I would assume that there's barely any shot of getting this in store.

You guys better unseal those and make sure they're not empty. Surprised you haven't run into one of the many threads on here with people complaining that they bought factory sealed, yet empty game cases. I myself did so during the TRU green tag, but I opened all of the games I bought and found that one of them was empty and called TRU up right away to make sure I could get the problem fixed.

It probably is not actually in stock. They seem to be having a problem with their inventory system -- all games show as in stock for all stores.

The guy on the phone checked the inventory on all the stores near to me and none of them have it in stock. How shocking. :shock:
I did remind him that they might want to fix that little problem with their inventory system, so that way they don't get someone yelling at them for making the trip down there and not finding it.
Anyone ever manage to get them to match the price in-store from their own website?

Unbelievable. I just got a backordered e-mail. It never fails. My last three orders with Best Buy's web site have resulted in backorders. You would think that one of the largest retailers in the country would have a more accurate inventory system.
I own this game. It is excellent. I just hope the new one (for DS) has more games.

yes, BB's site does that. for some reason, if a game is sold out, it's listed as being in stock at all your local stores. call before you go and ask the employees to check the stock in back, it'll save lots of unnecessary driving.

I ran into the same thing. I think Best Buy's "availability check" isn't working correctly for items that are OUT OF STOCK. If an item is in stock, the availability check for local stores works correctly but if an item is OUT OF STOCK it will list every single store near you as having it.
I did that with Wario Ware GBA yesterday and listed my 10 closest as having it available. I went to the three closest and not one single copy of the game. I just did it again and it still says availability at all those stores.
** I just noticed one thing, though. It says:
Nintendo - Wario Ware, Inc.: Mega Microgames is available at the following stores:
and then it lists the stores but in that weird "grayed out" color. I wonder if a store actually had it it would be a different color (blue, green, etc?). If that's the case, Best Buy needs to change that cause that's CONFUSING!
If you're checking for local availability on an item that's OOS on the site, take it with a grain of salt when it says they have it at your local store.

Actually, on OOS items at bestbuy.com, if your local store has it in stock, the text will be black but there will not be an "add it to cart" option.
For in stock items at bestbuy.com which your local store has in stock, the text will be black and you have the "add it to cart" option.
If anyone gets an extra copy and wants to trade for Advance Wars 2, let me know.
