I hope they don't strictly use characters from the 5 universes that they've said. I'd really like to see some Megaman, VJ, and DMC in there.

yea, lots of ppl are disappointed that there is no ken...

but yea, i want to see a few new or uncommon (in a fighting game before but not very often, such as mega man)

the footage does look pretty good...for example the fireballs are now actual light :)

no online in PS2 version, but Xbox version is online. I think I read both Xbox and PS2 versions come out on the same day (that could have changed)

I know EB's website shows both versions with different release dates but Gamespot says they both come out on the same day

That's cool. Maybe I can just get the PS2 version if it ends up like SF:AC, aka delayed for months for XBox, then trade it in for the XBox version when it comes out if I feel It's worth the extra cash for online.

I really wish CAPCOM would make its fighters online for the PS2. I can't see how it is all that hard. It is not like they have not made online games for the PS2 and you can run it with the Gamespy Arcade like MK is doing

there were always cheap games, but most werent very good...but w/ katamari damancy, the 2k5 games, this game, gungrave overdose, etc. this is great for us CAGers :)

but yea, i reaaaaly want online for some 2d fighters...especially the capcom ones w/ SF in it...but i think that capcom thinks that it would be too laggy....broadband only?

I'm so glad that this is now going to be 29.99. I was wanting to pick it up but definently not for 50 or 40 dollars. This way I'll be able to GGC it to $25 and if my Fry's runs it at $24.99 than I'll be able to PM it and then use a GGC like I did on Street Fighter: AC and bring the price down to 19.99.

any of you CAGs up for a round or 2 when x-box version comes out, let's do it.

would anyone be interested in doing a small tourney? and let's limit it to CAGs. i'm pretty good at fighting games, but i'm not insane tournament material. i'd be willing to throw in for a prize pool, as long as i can play in it.

and i'm NOT down for an svc tourney, cuz that shiznat is just unbearable.
