Like the topic says I'm looking for cheap hard drive enclosure with USB 2.0 speeds. Its something that you put an internal hard drive in so its kind of like an external hard drive. Thanks!

I wouldn't mind paying $20 if that included shipping.

I paid about $15 for miine on ebay, there is no no enclosure though, just a USB->IDE cable and a power supply. Works great, though.

I saw those. I was wondering how they were? Thanks for the info. What do you do so your HD doesn't get corrupt while your transferring data? Like do you put it in something?
Techsunny.com has a 3.5" drive enclosure for 19.99 plus 2 dollars shipping.

Thanks kaw. Do you know if the site is reliable?

While I can't personally vouch for their service, they have a near flawless reseller rating:

They're featured on bensbargains.net quite often. I almost bought a BlueTooth dongle from them the other day, but I decided to just add it to my Christmas list. They seem to have some good prices on things, also if you don't like the enclosure I would check bensbargains.net a couple times a day. I always see IDE enclosures out there for around 20-30. I've seen real nice aluminum ones go in the upper twenties..

Make sure you note the difference between an enclosure for a 3.5" drive (standard desktop), and a 2.5" (standard laptop) drive.

Thanks for the links coolnat2004 but I think I need a 3.5 version. The 2.5 is for laptops I believe. And the feedback link you gave me kaw the companies feedback looks kinda phony how all the feedback is left at 11 o' clock. Like its too good to be true. What do you think? I'm still looking for one.
I think you're referring to the transaction time. That was an old field reseller ratings used to have in their database. I think they deleted it so all the old reviews when their used to be a transaction time show up as 11:00 PM. This is the way it is for all the other retailers I checked anyways.

Oh ok thanks. I thought maybe they might be giving themselves good feedback.

I'm quite sure you can use the 2.5 inch on a desktop since it is a USB interface, but let me dig up some 3.5" ones.
Bah, they start at $23.99. Here's the list, anyway:

Do you have a link so maybe I can see if the same sellers are the same price?
