I netflixed this blindly and don't remember it being out in theaters at all. Nothing. But,
having watched it early this morning, I'll agree that it is a very underrated sci-fi action film.

Kept my attention the entire time, and I want to know/see more. Those negative reviews have me puzzled now. It's a shame that Pandorum hasn't received much respect.

Definitely worth experiencing.

Just watched this over the weekend. Decent movie but I can't believe the name DEAD SPACE hasn't been mentioned yet. Many similarities although not a complete rip off, changes things up at the end.

Worth a watch, maybe not own. And Yes Event Horizion is simila/better.

Yeah, I agree completely. I would definitely recommend renting this, say $1 rental at Redbox, before throwing more than $5 down on it. I was very disappointed, particularly after reading the positive reviews earlier in this thread.

No real spoilers below, just my opinion on the movie.


Far too many plot holes and bad editing and camera work and lighting used in an attempt to create "suspense" and hide the "creatures". While it had its moments and interesting bits to it, they took too many different sci-fi/space/horror themes and tried to mishmash them together in a hack that didn't flow too well IMHO. Just my 2 cents.

Cast was cool and they did okay with the budget they were given, but it could have used some more $$$ on the special effects/creatures/combat sequences, as well as the plot/script.
