Some of you less observant CAGs may not realize that you can get 25% (or 26% on $50 used orders) off and get free shipping on used games/DVDs if you head to your local EB retailer and pick up an EB Edge card (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/help/ordering/EBEdgeCardHelp.asp) for $5. Then, when you order online you can combine your Edge card code, with codes CAG15 (or CAG16 on used orders of $50 or more) and SAVER for a total of 25% (26%) off and free shipping.

If you are ordering from the links on this site, they already know you are a CAG.
The only additional info this could give EB would be who is using the code, but not ordering from links on CAG.

Yeah, it's not like they exactly threw us a bone to give us further incentive to make a purchase. We're CAGers, we already know about the public code of PPlay15.

I'm all for it opening up further exlcusives, though, and that's not a bad thing.

It's because the Xbox is the superior version, and it was in higher demand. I held out until it dropped to $30, and I am very happy with the purchase.

Actually, it is 25%. If you do the math in your shopping cart, you'll see that both the 15% PPLAY15/CAG15 discount and the 10% Edge card discount are taken from the original price. The easiest way to see this is to put a $10 game in your cart and enter the codes. You'll get discounts of $1.50 and $1, for a total discount of $2.50, or 25%. Plus another $2 savings for free shipping. Can't beat that!

CheapyD...this is great. If retailers can acknowledge that there is a client base that will purchase many video and PC games, as long as they are inexpensive, they may provide CAGers with more B2GOF offers or some sort of "frequent gamer" bonus.

Funny, I was under the impression that you COULD return games there as EBgames.com and EB are the same company/entity. It would benefit you AND EB if you were able to exchange instore as it save costs on shipping (They just field destroy the bad disc).

You can do returns in-store for EBGames. Any shipping charges aren't refunded, though with the free shipping, it becomes a moot point.

Also, I noticed that they did a slightly higher tax on my order than the store would do in-store, so check what the credit should be versus the charge on your card, just so they don't forget to give it all back to you.

Gamestop doesn't so in-store returns for Gamestop.com items. Trust me, I've told them how much easier it would be if they did do that.

Hmm.. I dunno, 16% percent won't make me rush to ensure my order is over $50. But maybe 17%... :D

Anyway, do you need to have $50 total in your cart or $50 in used games in your cart to use the new coupon?

Frankly, I don't see myself using CAG 16 at all. Since shipping is free I have very little incentive to make sure I have large orders on PO games. Secondly, a lot of times if there's a PO game you really want you can't wait around to find another $30 worth of merchandie to add. You have to buy it before it is gone. Thirdly, 1% extra is a start but not a huge one. That's an extra 50 cents on a $50 order. $1 on a $100 order.

But I will definately use CAG15 over PPLAY 15 to bolster the name of CAG!

It expires after one year of service, unless you renew it. So, I guess the answer is one year.

I couldn't get CAG15 to work (it kept telling me the manager didn't approve, or something like that) but PPLAY15 worked along with SAVER. I didn't try CAG16 cause I didn't have $50 of used games in my cart.
