went back little ways only saw a thread on gas tank locks but I could be wrong. it is amazing how they buy a tanker of fuel at one price then if oil goes up they raise there prices even though they did not pay more the raise is all profit to them untill they get their next tanker. and they say the do not gauge prices

Does it really help mileage if you buy a higher grade of gas? Does the extra cost warrant the extra mileage or is it more of a maintance thing?

I made the last thread about this, I'll bump it up.

No, it doesn't --unless your car requires it. Check your manual, and find out what octane your engine needs. If it says 87 octane, then there's really no sense putting in a higher octane fuel, and in some cases you can actually damage your vehicles emissions system. If you get a sulfery rotten egg smell in your car then you're using too high octane.
