?(this goes at the end of the title) I had read a lot of this game and had been tracking it for some time now, until recently when it just got off of the radar and I haven't been able to find any new info.

Still waiting for it. Last I heard it was still coming out.

From what I had read, it was supposed to come out in time for this holiday/christmas shopping season. When was it pushed back?

I think it was offically pushed back when NoA released their first and second party game lineup for 2004 and it was nowhere to be found on the list (or it might have said that Geist was coming out in 2005, I cant remember. It was a long time ago).

It's one a few of the Demo Kiosks I've seen at Gamestop so I still figure it's coming they just had to push it back, the usual delays.

That's gone because the company went under.

I was going to wait for Geist in hopes that it would fill the FPS drought the cube has... I may just end up buying a xbox.

XBOX: For all you FPS needs.

...That should be their next slogan.

I've been thinking that since it came out. Most of the games that I own for that system are FPS.

Man, I was so looking forward to that game, I was pretty bummed when no one picked it up. I'm surprised no one did, it looked really promising.

Im pretty sure that Geist is going to come out sometime next year. As far as I know hoursemen is not coming out (unless it was picked up by another publisher).

I swear I read that Horsemen was picked up some time back. Are all of you so sure or just guessing?

In a gaming mag from last year there was a lot of info and therefore i was really interested and following it. Then the company went under and I swear that I read it was picked up.

The rights to all 3DO games were sold off in various ways, but I don't know if the actual code was. Either way, the development team behind Four Horsemen is no more since 3DO went bankrupt. So it's not quite as simple as, for example, Psychonauts falling off the map for a while because MS was no longer publishing it.

Geist was looking pretty good. And yes, it is scheduled for 2005. Who knows when though?

Geist curently has a March 1st 2005 release dated.

They showed off new stuff at the last E3, You also need to keep in mind the reason we haven't heard much about it lately is because all the focus has been on the DS.

Its not a dead project. Their just fine tuneing the project. You know Nintendo they don't like to release partly finished games.

that makes sense why we haven't heard much from it. It's the DS, now why didn't I think of that. Still thanks to all for clearing it up because I had thought that it was a dead project or that Nintendo had dropped it.

I thought that Geist sounded cool, until I heard you had to possess a bowl of dog food to scare a dog, so you could then possess it. I'm sorry, but I don't think that dog's are creatures of such high intellect that I need to scare it before I can possess it. I think possessing a dog should be a given.

I agree, you should just be able to possess animals without having to scare them, but there should be the option of scaring them. It would be funny to see their reaction.
