The website is shady as hell though, because I placed an order for this specific game and they cancelled my order saying it's out of stock, but it was still in stock and they even jacked up the price on their site. They did that three times already and I'm about ready to BBB on their asses.
They have tons of cheap games and they do ship them, just don't buy too many of the same title because they'll probably cancel your order and jack up the price. They even have some BS scheme of saying that its the "last one" and when you buy it, wait a few hours and you'll see another "last one".

The N64 games arrived in excellent condition. The cartridges look perfect, all original inserts and manuals were included, but the box was smushed, and had some wear. The Dreamcast games included case+instructions and looked mint. They reshrinkwrap everything and put a used sticker on top, but on the N64 games, the used sticker was directly on the case over the barcode (so no pretending its new for you pricks that would).

Actually, I have a confession. I knew about this website for like a month and have been buying these incredible almost once in a lifetime deals. So, if you see great games that are sold out and will never restock, it was probably me buying them. Have fun sucking cheapy balls for the next great deal.

Me too! I purchased a bunch of Marvel vs. Capcom 2(PS2) for cheap and Backyard Baseball(GBA) for cheap also...all complete. The website is shady as hell though, because I placed an order for this specific game and they cancelled my order saying it's out of stock, but it was still in stock and they even jacked up the price on their site. They did that three times already and I'm about ready to BBB on their asses.
They have tons of cheap games and they do ship them, just don't buy too many of the same title because they'll probably cancel your order and jack up the price. They even have some BS scheme of saying that its the "last one" and when you buy it, wait a few hours and you'll see another "last one".

The "last one" issue is not a scheme and is easy to explain. When you place an item in your cart, it remains there for 90 minutes. Thus, even though you haven't purchased the item yet, no one else can either. So if there is one copy of a used item and I place it in my cart, the website will now show the item as being sold out. If my cart remains inactive for 90 minutes, all the items are taken out of my cart. So the item you saw was probably someone else's that they didn't end up purchasing.

Yeah, got them a while ago. Dreamcast games are mint with cases and instructions. N64 games are complete with box and instructions, boxes look worn though. They reshrinkwrap everything and put used stickers on it.

honestly? yes, I think it has. with all the people now visiting this site, larger deals appear on FatWallet almost immediately. either that, or someone just buys all the available copies of something, killing great deals in no time.

I don't visit often and just figured that everyone knew because I found Wherehouse.com through a google search that turned up a forum post on CAG.. next time I see something like this I'll risk a post and being yelled at for repeating what someone else has already posted..

I agree. I can understand not posting until after you place your order, but people sat on this deal for more than a week. If you already placed your order, why keep the deal to yourself? And if that wasn't bad enough, these guys rub it in by posting the fact that they knew about the deal weeks ago.

PSOs aren't online only. They have offline modes plus with a gameshark or codebreaker you can still play online with a good amount of people still.

I played offline for about a year before I even went online so there is an offline. And when the servers got shut down I used my code breaker to play online still with my DC. Still pretty fun. About 100-200 people on.

well, I got my first 3 titles, Paper Mario, MarioKart 64 and Pokemon snap. My N64 won't be here until Wednesday though, so all I can do is look at the boxes :) (my eyetoy arrived as well, so I can mess around with that in the meantime)

They're all boxed and shrinkwrapped with a used sticker on them. I'll open them later when my wife stops yelling about how much money I keep spending *lol* They arrived in padded envelopes and the boxes were slightly squashed, but nothing that worries me.

I posted this earlier... They can and will cancel individual items from your order without notification, they'll sometimes let people order a little more than what they have with their odd inventory/shopping cart system. Check your order status frequently.

Not to keep bumping this topic, but I figured out why I couldn't make my order go through earlier.

The site ripped me off $65.70. After entering my info and going to checkout, the site gave me an "Oops!" message and redirected me to the front page. And my debit account was drained $65.70, without the order being placed. The reason it wouldn't allow me to place the order after that was because at the time I didn't realize I had been charged, and I didn't have enough money left in checking to place the order a second time. I didn't go through with my second order because of this, and I already emailed them. Hopefully this will be resolved quickly. I'll let you all know how it turns out, assuming any of you care.

I agree with dafoomie. A year ago you missed out on deals, not because you weren't on your computer at the right time of day, but because you weren't checking at some point of time each day. Now you can see the deal posted and still miss out on the deal if you don't checkout right away...

That was my point.. every deal site steals from every other. You can bet that someone from Fatwallet and God knows where else also skim this site for deals.. thus, if it is posted in a single place, it spreads to every other deal site in very little time..

I should probably add that the Majora's Mask I recieved was the collectors edition.

I wish they'd ship in boxes though, they use the Fedex bubble envelopes for the N64 games and they keep getting smushed.

mine were too. Nothing horrible and nothing that would have caused cartridge damage, but just a bit collapsed on the sides.. It could be that the boxes were even flattened some while they were stored empty at the store..
