Personally,no, I don't have it. I like the GCN's controller layout the way it is. Get a WaveBird if you're looking for a good wireless controller.

Yes, but it's for PC. I love it.

That looks pretty sweet. As a matter of fact, I have the PC AirFlo, and let me tell you, I love it. The air it emits is a great add-on. While I'm not sure what you would prefer, and if the GC version is any good, I'd recommend it.

God why does everything mimic the PS layout.
God I hate the PS layout, its sucks. MS and Nintendo have it right, Sony on the other hand needs to update their controler.
Go with a Wavebird, Its just all around better.

More people prefer the PS layout to other layouts, so you;ll just have to get used to it. A lot of work went into making it as ergonomic as possible it's only natural that someone imitate it.

Wow, my thoughts exactly. Everyone else for some reason is in love with the PS/PS2 layout, I personally prefer XBOX & Gamecube

I think he might've more been talking about having the analog stick as the obvious first use controller instead of the d-pad. I agree with him if thats what he was talking about, and if they had just switched the two with the ps2 controller when they knew that analog would be a main control, it probably would've made sense since so much uses analog over digital. But, I do like the sticks being next to each other for Katamari Damancy.

The analog isnt the main control for every game, especially when the PS2 still plays PSone games.

i have a wavebird and its great...
i love the GCs button layout also...
but i just cant play any of the old MKs with that layout im used to the super nintendo/N64/PS1/PS2 layout...
im considering this controller for the layout only not the wireless and air flow..although those are nice additions...
does anyone have any experience with the retro-con?

Ya that is my biggest beef with the PS2 controller.
I am also sick of the layout of the Triangle, Cycle, X and Square buttons. The whole controller is just poorly designed in my book. MS had the right idea with the large Xbox controller, If they kept the same button layout when the made the small it would have been the perfect controller. I don't like the button layout on the small controller. It mimics the PS one to much.
and Nintendo had everything almost perfect if it wasn't for the ultra small cross pad.
Sony better update their controller for the PS3. It's outdated.

I agree and disagree with you. I thought the original XBOX had a nice button configuration but was too big. MS should've just took the same button configuration and put it on the smaller S-controller. The Black, White, Start, and Back buttons are in the worst place on the S. I HATE the Xbox and GC controllers when it comes to FPSs; they're both fine with all other genres IMO. PS2's controller is the way to go for FPS. Heck, the reason I didn't like Metroid Prime was how bad the controls were.
As far as the Air Flow goes, I've got the PS2 model and it's great. Definitely worth it for us sweaty-handed people. As far as battery life, it's actually pretty good. It's not much shorter than my Logitech wireless.

I'm not sure if you ever wanna trust an AirFlow controller. Mine stopped working about a month after I bought it and I later read about them being unreliable.
