I'm assuming that the BB website isn't as reliable as one thinks and I didn't bother to order there. I think your best chance is going to your B&M and checking it out. And I'm pretty sure that the GBA list is going to have games that stopped showing up in the GBA section for several months, but I don't think it'll hurt to try and look anyways. I only got Kirby and Sonic 2. I'd like Pokemon Pinball and Yoshi's Island but those never appeared on the shelf for many months.

Does Best Buy and TRU at Brooklyn have good deals? I've never been to Best Buy and the last time I went to TRU was more than 5 years ago. It seems that PC games are also on sale. After CrashSpyro123 posted in this thread (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=489484#489484) that he picked up Rise of Nations for $10 (usually goes for $30), I checked it out and picked up the expansion pack, Thrones and Patriots for $10 (usually goes for $30). I don't know if it's B&M also or if there is a large list of PC games on sale, but it's worth checking out. Thanks CrashSpyro123, I've been wanting to get Thrones and Patriots for a while.

Just got back from the GSP Best Buy in Paramus. They had no .Hack part 4, but two Fire Emblems. I picked up one for trade for .Hack part 4 and left the other for some local CAG. If interested PM me or look at my trade topic.

I managed to find Whiplash in the last go-around as well, which was at $10, and it was a haul to the BB that had it and Arx Fatalis.

I may do a trip to the nearest one over lunchtime and see what I'll find, though I'm already expecting to find nothing, so that'll temper the disappointment.

Yep, too good to be true. I went to BB this morning and had a sales guy check the price of the xbox version in the system. It came up $29.99.

I went to Best Buy this morning in the hope of picking up 2 games, Fire Emblem and The Suffering. My BB didin't have either one of course.

I was able to pick up a few cheap sorry titles. Max Payne (GBA), Pokemon Channel (GCN), and Bomberman Jetters (GCN).

Yes, last week I thought I bought the last copy of Advance Wars 2 at my BB but I went back yesterday and there was another copy left. I didn't really get to look good because I was sorta in the way of an employee restocking stuff, but anyway the game was inside on of those plastic cases and had something like "do not ring up, ask manager first" written on it. Just got back from BB on lunch......got Sword of Mana and Sonic 2. No GC games on the list and I was using the list from last night, so i didn't check for PS2 or Xbox games. I'm gonna hit another BB on the way home. I want Bill Hatcher, Sphinx, Star Wars - FOF, and may be something else. I really wanted SoM, so I'm happy.

I tried going to the most disorganized BB in my area, thinking they'd possibly still have a few of these games left, but there wasn't much out. I did end up getting the Pac Man Collection for GBA and I got a copy of Advance Wars 2 for $4.99 because they hadn't adjusted their shelf prices yet.

My BB is usually good about updating prices, but on this one several titles were still priced at $29.99.

I knew I was taking a major chance on being embarrased, but who cares. I have noticed that none of these titles come up in a search on the website so I figured there was a good chance everything was cool.

They all rang up as listed here. Walked off with quite a stash. But if one more employee ask me if I want a reward zone card or one of those stupid subscriptions I think I may go postal. :Evil:

Same for me, in-store, on the expanded list. The smaller list from yesterday netted me Billy Hatcher (in-store) and Kirby (website, if I ever get it).

I did some phone checking, and the one thing I did learn from a couple of the BB reps is which stores are less shopped than others. Next time this happens, I know which ones to go to first, with one of them down the road from where I work. :D

Does Best Buy and TRU at Brooklyn have good deals? I've never been to Best Buy and the last time I went to TRU was more than 5 years ago. I might go near that area one day just to check out the deals, so I was just wondering if the stores are any good when it comes to finding these clearance items.

They aren't that great, the Best Buy there usually only has the newest games. Although, I have found a few good clearance items there. TRU on the otherhand usually has a large stock of older games and I got some good deals during the 50% sale from there.

Sword of Mana is decent. It's an action RPG (think Zelda or Fable or Secret of Mana its predecessor) with upgrading weapons and an AI ally. If you didn't like the Game Boy Final Fantasy (one was actually a direct descendent of this game), you probably won't dig it.

The one that comes with the game is just a sample. The packs you buy come with about 20 cards including items, hint videos and extra levels that don't come with the game.

None of my BBs have a shortage of Katamari Damacy.

Yeah, I suppose that a lot of the BBs are getting more in, but I've never found one at one of the BBs around me before today

Does anyone know for sure which SOCOM is $9.99? There are 3 versions of this: SOCOM (game only), SOCOM (with headset), and SOCOM (greatest hits).

I got a price check on the GH version but it came up at reg. price.

Best Buy seems to be kinda screwy when it comes to pricing items and getting them back in stock, during that big $5 clearance a few months ago I picked up the last copy of Wario World, when I went there yesterday they had several copies of it for $20 each! Wouldn't it have made more sense to NOT clearance it off at $5 when they're just going to get more in later? I swear, some of these companies don't know the first thing about buisness (unless there's some REALLY wierd variable I'm not considering).
