I have a regular free paypal account so I can't accept credit card payments through paypal. So when I do my ebay auctions I always state that I can only accept non credit card payments. I also only ship to the US to I always put in all caps US BIDDERS ONLY! So today one of my auctions ends with a canadian winning the auction and to top it off he pays using a credit card :roll: . Do people just not read the auctions they are bidding on, this is about the 10th person I've had use a credit card when my auctions clearly state that I do not accept them :evil:

You can change your settings so non american can't bid. And you can have the bid retracted or not sell the item to him if you consult ebay. But as far as paypal goes if you don't accpet credicards don't use paypal take only money orders, checks and cashiers checks.

After 2 years of selling things on Ebay, I've come to the conclusion that people can't read. Even if you enlarge your font and make the letters bold, it still won't help much. I suggest upgrading to the business account where you can accept credit card payments. Yes you'll have to swallow some fees for each payment received, but it really saves you the trouble.

umm sadly no, first I can't spell but I always do that with people for some odd reason, I always have to correct it, my firnger must be messed up or something.

Thank God i thought i was the only person who bitched about this....i have this problem ALL THE DAMN TIME too....people just dont read the auction, even if you put that you dont accept credit card payments through Pay Pal in all CAPS and then state that you only sell in the united states, people will keep bidding on your stuff from foreign countries....its funny i was just recently selling a phone and i kept getting people emailing me from italy asking me if i could mail them 2 phones and how much shipping to italy it would be...are people freaking retarded, its an auction site...haha god bless ebay and stupid people
