View Full Version : Gamestop credit expired?

I put $30 of credit on a preorder of Street Fighter 4 on Feb. '09. Because I moved, I never picked up that game, and haven't bought anything at that store since. I went to check today, and they said I had nothing in the system. I still have the paper receipt, and I'm dead certain I didn't spend the credit on something else, but the guys at the store said that's the only thing that could have happened.

What can I do? Wouldn't they have a record of any transactions if I did spend the credit on something else? TIA

email or call corporate. They have to track this.

I left a $5 preorder on a few games for forever and just swapped it over later on.

Likely that you swapped it and forget though, I bet.

they canceled like 4-5 preorders on me from games that were like a year old and I never saw any of that money

kinda sucked, but I got over it quickly

So, does that mean the account is empty? Has anyone gotten a status page with your name, but zero preorders?
