It's not that big of a drop from 24.99, but a drop nonetheless. I'm still up in the air about whether or not I should get it.

I just started playing last night. If you haven't played thru FF X first, it's recommended. The battle system is quite a bit different, and characters are upgraded using a job system somewhat similar to FF V. So far it's pretty good, worth $20 IMO.

BTW: I believe this was $9.99 a few weeks back, guess the price is up from that.

I'd say it's worth playing if you HAVE played through FF10 already. It's not as good of a game, but it is a good one, and it's at the same price, so you might as well play them in order.

I grabbed this for $10 awhile back with free shipping from EB...but that is still a good deal. I'm sure they are prime'n it up for greatest hits land.

Awesome game if you played through FFX and liked it. Finishes the story. I wouldn't recommend it without playing FFX first, you'd be lost. Definitely worth 20 bucks.

Job system is awesome in this game. My only gripes were the story seemed like an add on (kind of generic) and only 3 characters to play and upgrade. Other than that, the battle system and job system were what made me like this game.

No need for spoilers but does X-2 expand on the ending of FFX. Is there a lot of FFX references made or is it basically a new story just with the same characters.

Slightly off topic, but I've noticed recentally that some place when a game first goes either greatest hits or playchoice the put GH or PC stickers on the boxes of pre GH/PC games still in stock.

This happened for me on Mario Golf and Ratchet And Clank Going Commando.
