I want to buy a legit Pokemon Yellow and I was wondering where is a place where I can buy a legit version of the game? I recently bought Pokemon Emerald off of eBay and it was a counterfeit version and I don't really want to buy another counterfeit version and have to go through the hassle to send it back and stuff. So any ideas?

Checking out a pawn shop or two, might work.

Might be worthwhile to call a Play N Trade, if you have one.

I am being completely serious.....I am going down to my AL home and if I find my old copy of it I will let you have it if you can just take care of the shipping charges.....I am guessing $2-3 dollars.....But keep in mind I have absolutely no where to start looking for it.

Called my local ones in SoCal and they didn't have any. :/

Don't have those anywhere near my home. :P Closest one would be Irvine. :P

If you do find it, then that would be awesome. I would gladly be willing to pay $10-15 for it even though you wouldn't want me to pay. :P

Sucks you got a fake one off ebay. I'd still try again. lol dont buy from overseas, and only buy it if there is an actual picture of the cartridge, not some stock photo.

I might have it, but to be honest, I don't even know if the battery or anything in that thing works. I'm trying to think if that one belongs to me or my wife, still, just like Andrews I'd even have to find it....though I think it belongs to her and she probably wouldn't part with it.

My son has a complete one he would probably trade or sell. He takes great care of his carts (I taught him well), and the box and instructions for all of our games immediately go on the shelf (separate from the game so that they don't get man-handled).
Too bad you didn't check my sell/trade thread. I just ended an auction for my complete in box copy this past sunday.

Some gamestops around me still sell game boy color games (idk about game boy games). Try there. Although it wont be a complete copy, it;s better than nothing.
