Its supposed to be using various methods, bone breaking, reforming, stuffing in a small container for months, etc.. to reform a kitten into an artistic form... thusly Bonsai Kittens (think bonsai trees). But yes, this is old, and been proven false numerous times.

An interesting side note though on that Bonsai Kitten website is that in the explanation it mentions how a kittens bones are pliable and that's why the bonsai thing works. The funny thing is that same explanation could bring about bonsai babies!

I point to it being the most pointless and retarded mainly because it probably could cause the most harm considering how many kids look at this site. Not to mention that abusing animals has a large following among kids. Even more among stupid or bored kids.

Apparently you did not read the site enough. Bonsaikitten.com does not recommend shaping babies. Kittens are the only recommended thing to shape.
