What do you think about people posted something already posted?
I feel that its actually kinda nice, Cause sometimes I miss the original post....I feel that if the person searched and found nothing...or thought the last post was too old that its ok to repost. I dunno.
I also think that people who post quickly post "Already Posted" in every post are kinda sad. I dunno, thats just my personal opinion. Anyone else?

If it is something big, that only an idiot could have missed 5 times, then I feel it is ok to post "Already Posted", but as you say some things slip through the cracks and so I'm cool with it coming up again. I mean if someone posted a "Holy God, have you heard about the Toys R Us sale", I think it would be understandable for people to be a bit snide with their remarks.

Just "already posted" is kind of weak, but if a link to the first version of the thread is posted then it's useful. It keeps there from being redundent ongoing threads. That's good. Cuts down on clutter.

It all depends how frequently and recently the question has come up/ been answered.
If someone reposts a question that was answered a year ago (and not placed in a sticky), and then not asked again or paid attention to, the "already posted" while deserved, seems kind of petty.
If someone creates a new thread to ask a question that has been covered multiple times within the past few days, weeks or even month, they do deserve to get hammered on with the "already posted" comments. How else are they going to learn that you don't need to open a thread every single time you want to make a post or ask a question?

Goatse was gone for awhile, but it is back up now. Still not the same address as the old site... Mr. Google can help you find it though :)
