$5 to get one and $15 with a GMR subscription. 10% off all used games/dvds.

Just wondering, is the GMR subscription worth it? I already subscribe to EGM and Gamepro, so I don't know if there's a point in getting another magazine. Is there an advantage to doing it?

Not really, just pay 5 and get the card.

Don't forget you can stack the EDGE card code with coupon codes CAG15 and SAVER to get a combined 25% off with free shipping when shopping online.

Yeah, but the 30% off coupon seems more useful to me though because I always buy from an actual B&M store. I haven't tried using it yet, but I think I'll make good use of it very soon.

Is it confirmed that getting both the mag and the card is $15 now?

That's my complaint, too. I wish we could just order the card online and go from there. Next time I'm in Ft. Worth, though, I'm picking up an Edge card.

i'll find out tonight. I have some more cd's to trade in and i plan on pre-ordering HL2:SE/LE (whatever those letters are...) and picking up Valkyrie Profile...so i'll get an edge card so i can use the %30 off coupon for VP. and maybe the gameboy donkey kong...i love that game!

as a side note, they have handouts so you can get either 1 or 2 other mag subs of 5 issues and get gmr for either 5 or 10 months. free.

EDIT: too tired... the mags include XBN and Stuff as well as 4 others that i'll try and remember later.

Actually it's $5 for the card and $15 for the GMR subscription, coming to a total of $20 for both.

yeah, you can buy the card itself for 5 bucks the other day, and to clarify its not 10% off all purchases, its 10% off PRE-PLAYED games, accessories, etc etc.

Occasionally they put some exclusive EB coupons & stuff in it. Actually, it's not a bad read. Previews seem more in-depth than EGM, actually. It's always nice to receive a new magazine in the mail.

The magazine is actually very handy. I hae had it for about two years and I always use the coupons, or deals in them. Every couple months, they have awesome deals. Definitely worth the money.

Do most EB stores advertise the Edge card? My local one (Bethesda, MD) doesn't show any sign that they sell them. For some reason I just hate asking clerks for stuff like this so my question is, do any of the EB stores have displays or anything for the Edge card or is my store just like all the others?

The ones around me advertise it by having a poster or two up about it. They also (usually) ask if you have one/want one when you purchase a game.
