Sound from Wii games is peaking my speakers!

Any else ever have this problem? I just started noticing it tonight while playing NSMB Wii. Doesn't happen for any other systems. All my systems get plugged into my TV and the audio out from the TV goes to my speaker system. The Wii sound effects and some music is peaking and becoming distorted and it is really distracting. Any advice?

On a side note, I really can't stand the remixed songs for this game, it is almost unbearable when you get on Yoshi, I don't even want to ride him anymore!

I've got our Wii plugged into our TV and from there to our stereo and I haven't noticed any such issues. I'd suspect the cable you're using, but I'm not sure.

I like the music in NSMB Wii fine, though admittedly I haven't really noticed it that much either way. Great game.

Never had a problem with the music myself. While it does sound out of place, I do admit I loved seeing the song "Sonic Boom" on there. Haven't heard that since playing Sonic CD YEARS AGO.
