State of Emergency is worth it for 4.99.. I also recommend Dead to Rights, Freedom Fighters, Mafia (If you don't buy this one, you suck), Silent Hill 3, Soldier of Fortune, and Jedi Outcast.

I did not recommend Nightfire. The PC version is EXTREMELY buggy, and it dropped to 19.99 almost immediately after release.

Mafia and Jedi Knight are both really good.

Freedom Fighters was not all that great IMO

Freedom Fighters was awesome.

The only people who didn't like it were dirty communists. You aren't a communist, are you?

FYI, that Shadowbane is the expansion. You'll need the original game to play it.

Devastation is a decent FPS for the money IMO

I heard DTR was extremely buggy out of the box as well. But some great games for anybody who doesn't have them yet is Jedi Outcast, RCT and Ice Wind dale.

There's a bug that prohibits you from completing the first level! I'm sure they've patched it by now. But still, did this game even get tested?! THE FIRST LEVEL!

Icewind Dale is well worth picking up for the RPG crowd.

Mafia and The Longest Journey are definitely worth the $10 each.

They have been at that price at Gamestop for a while now, so really, what are you waiting for?

The Longest Journey is the best point-n-click adventure game on the pc. Definitely worth the asking price!

Icewind Dale is well worth picking up for the RPG crowd.IMHO, Gothic 2 is a better choice for the RPG-er.

Actually, it wasn't even the first level: it was the TRAINING area. Donno how that one got past QA, looks like there was a bit of a screwup between the release canditate and the gold copy.

Anyway, Battle Engine Aquilla is decent for that price, but the lack of online mutliplayer hurts it. Single-screen multiplayer is kinda cool though, it's just annoying needing to play it on one screen and with multiple pads plugged in. Devestation might be worth it for that price, for a generic FPS anyway.

I picked that up at the $9.99 price, so I'm covered on both sides of that coin.

I'm glad to see people found my list useful. I may pick up The Longest Journey, seems like a good game.

Homeworld's a really, really old game, but it's still very good! Also, Mafia's awesome. I actually liked it better than GTA III. But then again, I didn't like GTA III. :P
