I can't wait until next week, it's midterms for us and I get tuesday through Friday off, so it's a 6 day weekend. Most of my teachers have told us to just relax, play games, go explore Arizona, and just forget about school. Mostly because there'll be a lot more work put on us for the rest of the term.
Only a few of my classes are actually having a midterm exam, since the others don't care and just want us to enjoy the long weekend.
Do you have midterms? How are they done? Do you get time off?

Thank God I'm done with that. Lots of my friends are thinking about going back to school for MBA's and whatnot, but I say screw that!

Midterms are horrible. I hate them because teachers schedule them all on the same day. Studying for two midterms on the same day is a bitch.

I have 2 week cycles of basically midterms/labs/projects ( read: insanity ), and one week "off". Constantly doing projects and studying though. Ah the life of a college student. As to getting days off, I WISH. My pal in Michigan gets a "fall study break day". Now that'd be awesome.

Damn, you guys get it a lot tougher than I do. I just had my first written test today, it's usually just online.

I've found that the less I study for exams, the better I do. case in point: I studied for an Econ exam for 4 hrs, got an 80. Took the next one, studied for an hr, got an 88. I didn't study at all for my POli sci exam and got a 99. College, ye 'tis but bullshit.

Heh. Crazy semester schools. I took finals last week, I'm on vacation for this week. I love the quarter system, tests are much easier cause we have less classes to focus on.

Yesteday was horrible for me with midterms. I had an accounting Midterm on 4 difficult chapters, an economics midterm on 8 chapters and a 8 minute information speech for my speech class. I hate how in college, there is usually only the midterm and a final for tests, it's too much information at once IMO. I liked the high school test style where you had a test at the end of each chapter so all you had to study was 1 chapter at a time.
