To be quite honest I'm not even talking about cancer and all that. Seriously for all I care you can get cancer and die, it will bother me as much as my death would to you. That's pretty much ALL he spends his money on, he'll work like an extra five hours of yard work to get money, then buy some more weed the next day if not the same day. Not exactly. The basis of his arguments are mostly opinion, emotion, and anecdotal evidence. None of them can actually withstand the tests of scientific rigor, and while may convince some of his points, actually do very little to disprove the contention that he is a loser.

Actually, in this small area I'm actually fairly well versed. Pro/Con Marijuana legalization was one of the topics in one of my debate class.
(I actually argued the pro-marijuana end, which is actually fairly easy to do if you argue it as a personal liberty issue, and not as a drug issue)

He is a child. Adolescence is often the most dangerous time for anyone to use drugs. Thier entire body chemistry is changing, and the last thing you want to do is introduce other chemicals into that. Drug problems hit youths even harder than adults.

Yes, but children's use is more vexing, because it DOES do more harm to them. I've stated it many times, but as soon as someone turns 18, they can do whatever they want, so long as it doesn't effect me. They can smoke or ingest whatever drugs they want, so long as they don't come to me to pay for thier welfare, rehab, or whine for me to "give them another shot.. because it wasn't them, it was the drugs. I feel the same way about alcohol and alcoholism... and I have dear relatives that were drunks, who my family helped set back on the straight an narrow again.

I noticed that too. A couple of months ago my bro told me he had a hangover from drinking cups of some hard liquor. He's the same age as deadzone...

I didn't even start drinking until Senior Year of HS/ Frosh in College, like most of my friends. My parents were asking me for advice, cuz he was suspended a couple of times, and was failing most his classes. Luckily he was able to get his act together, but I did have to kick his ass into gear. I know that all people are different, but I just wonder sometimes whats happening.

On a side note, I quit smoking weed for a while now, and I drink occasionally. To that kid who said they were blazing and doing well in HS, well let me say to you in the long run that doesn't mean anything. Everything you said about yourself I could apply to myself, I was in the top 10% of my class, had 5th highest SAT score, could've skipped a grade but I chose not to, etc. Let me just warn you that it gets harder when you get to college, and even harder when you get to the real world to keep your life together. Maybe you'll do well maybe you won't, I'm trying not to preach, just telling you what I went through. I fell in with a bad crowd, and saw most of my friends drop out of the engineering program, some drop out of school, while I almost got kicked out myself.

Personally, I don't care what any of you do, I don't know you and I'm not your parents. I don't have pity for you like JS or Darkwolfe or anybody might. I was a kid once too. But hey that was almost 10 years ago. I don't remember how I was, I could've been as arrogant as you are. Who knows. All these people trying to convince you not to do whatever are just wasting their time. You and kids like you will do it if they feel like it. It comes down to you... if someday you decide to regain some self-respect, you'll know what to do. If you have any dignity, then you'll get your head straightened out and stop defending yourself and realize what needs to change. I don't need to regain self respect because, as I've made clear already, using marijuana does not detract from my self respect. I do have dignity, and my head is perfectly straight. I realize that marijuana helps me. So please, please don't talk so condescendingly to me. The child protection act makes it illegal for anyone under 13 to give out their e-mail address or any other personal info online. In effect, it bans 12 year old from intenet forums and chat rooms unless a parent verifies that they are with the kid.

You have to be banned until your 13th birthday or cheapassgamer.com (and the administrators) could get bitch-slapped by the law.

Actually, you can be physically addicted to drugs. You begin to exhibit withdrawal symptoms when the substance is removed if you have been using it for awhile. I'm pretty sure that's accurate; someone correct me if I'm wrong.

i agree with yellowaznboy. i can see the effects on some of my friends and it's kinda like quitting smoking. they say they're gonna quit, but haven't yet. they even had a "last smokeout" night, but that was a few years ago and unfortunately, they've been doing it quite often since then. i always hear this as an excuse, "it's easy to quit... i just don't want to. weed isn't addicting... blah blah blah." personally, i think it's sad when they're wasting so much time and money on it, but that's my own humble opinion.

I'm turning 13 in about a week so I wouldn't care, nice try to be an asshole though. Anyway, I don't spend any money on weed, I spend it all on video games. My brother gives it to me. But anyway, once again, I only smoke like once or twice and didn't smoke for two months before last week. So, hah, I mostly do it just to get my brother off my back, all it does for me is just make me sleepy. So, it's not like I say to my brother, "Hey, you wanna smoke a bowl?" He is usually going out so smoke and asks me, most of the times I say no, sometimes yes. But he mostly cathces me off gaurd when I'm already outside with him and he asks me.
